another thing i would add in the pause menu or gameplay is a sign showing how many coins you have collected in the level on your current attempt. when you collect a coin it shows briefly along the other 3 coins you can collect, kind of Rayman Legends’ teensie progress bar, and also WHICH coin you collected (whether its the first, second or third coin)

Sometimes you do a weird jump pattern and you fall somewhere you're not supposed to be, so a feature like this would be quite useful

I would also like to add that you can add a function to the level search filter that, during operation, will issue levels with EXACTLY the same name that you entered. For example, if you write "blood" in the search, then you will get not bloodbath and bloodlust, but a level called "blood". Still, it would be possible to make a function to search for levels by the creator. This would be more convenient than logging into the person's account and then going to "my levels" . And one last little detail that pissed off my inner perfectionist. In achievements, the "60 demons" achievement comes after "40 demons" and before "50 demons. Aaaarrghhh

i think the idea of only icons you've unlocked showing up in the menu is a great suggestion! but on the other hand, i do think it is nice that newer players may discover an icon through the menu and go like "wow that looks so cool i want that!", although, your change to locked icons in the icon kit showing up partially would remedy that, but still, i think it could be a more interesting way to see new icons in the menu that way, it's nicer to see them in color and moving, as opposed to a grayscale thingy behind a lock symbol! maybe if you click on an icon you haven't unlocked in the menu it can show up in the icon kit telling you how to unlock it? e.g. i click on the "beat ToE2" icon in the menu, and then the lock that says "beat ToE2" now has that icon behind it! i think that'd be even cooler!!

I have one more idea for trigger boxes: So you know how if you select multiple types of triggers and try to edit them, another box pops up where you can only edit touch, spawn, or multi triggered. What if, a box for “target group id” is added there, so you can change the group that the trigger targets for multiple triggers at once? Out of all the menus that needed a overhaul, the settings definitely needs it the most. But as far as the video goes, I'd say I agree with all of the changes you proposed. Great video overall! Anyway, I think this video made me realise the potential you have to be part of Robtop's team that he said hes gonna make after 2.2. You constantly have great ideas and always have the community's best interest at heart, as you've proven with this video and the subzero video as well as your past projects like GD Browser. I know you've expressed numerous times your disinterest in becoming a moderator, but maybe being in this new team is different! Robtop could even pay you for it, making it a viable source of income, unlike being a mod which doesn't get paid (which tbh they should). You could become more involved in GD's development and make it easier for you to suggest changes that would make the game better. You've already made Robtop change the coins in Subzero, and I assume you are friends with Rob on discord and can contact him easily, so why not make it official? What do u think? :)

I mean yes, I love the idea because it can start with a Basic Cube and Ship and as you move on and unlock more things the stuff you unlocked can be on the start menu and eventually you can start getting Wave,UFO,Ball,Robot,And Spider if you complete the levels that have those game modes. Like For Example: if you beat cycles Ball icons that you have (It will start with basic) will start popping up.

I have another one: make 2 pages, one for the shops and one for vaults to make it easier for new players to find these locations. This would be especially helpful, since I remember seeing a cool icon when i first started, but it took literally 5 minutes to find the shop it was in. another neat feature would be to add the ability to sell icons that you have purchased from a shop for like 75% of what you bought it for

For the level info stuff like clicking on downloads and likes and stuff to get more details I think I nice clean way to do it would be to make the text gold like the creator name Ik this isn’t consistent across the whole game bc of stuff like editor menus having random gold and white text but I think if gold text just universally meant that you can click it and get more info then that would be a good way to do it That way you could get rid of the info button entirely and just have the descriptions of some function or feature pop up when you click its name (if you really want to make it obvious you could give yellow text an underline like a hyperlink)

Since creating process have been evolved and more advanced from time to time, I feel like we deserved some more Quality of Life features, as a creator like myself it would makes life much easier and saves tons of hours of creating. I'm glad that we have stuff like Autobuild, Keyframe, Random Trigger, Advanced Scaling, etc in 2.2, so I hope this is just a start and we're going to have more useful tools later on.

The Save option could instead be toggleable through the Editor Options Menu like you thought up earlier in the vid, & it'd affect Save and Play & Save and Exit to be consistent. It'd be off by default ofc. I also think the possible gamemodes of the icons that go by in the main menu should require beating their debut levels. Cubes & Ships show up by default (or maybe just Cubes then Ships will require beating Stereo Madness), Balls show up after Cycles, mini-icons show up after Clutterfunk, etc. It gives just that tiny bit more reason to play all the main levels!
