I basically quit GD since 2.2 came out (wasn't the cause, just lost interest around that time) and watching this, wow, the people saying platformer mode could destroy the game's identity were kinda right. Half of these levels were platformer levels and many of them actively TRY to NOT be geometry dash at all. I'm now wondering if making platformer mode a separate game would've been the right call despite the drawbacks, because I don't really think we should be calling these two very different things the same game...
