Questions. I saw the directions where the wax is supposed to go in a basket with the filtering material on that. Did you avoid this because the solar wax melter pretty much took out the junk? Looks like it worked well for you. Great for the hobby beekeeper.

Do you reuse the paint strainer? Im trying to reuse products so I have less waste and wondering if that would work.

Sorry for delay with reply. Yes! I try to re-use a much material as possible. Instead of the paint strainer, I recommend using a fine steel mesh strainer. That way, you can easily clean it by submerging in hot water. The paint strainer does clog once the wax hardens and is more difficult to clean and re-use ;) I appreciate you watching & asking that question
