Oh man, regarding hugs... I feel you. I came from a family that never touched, never hugged. My partner had to pretty much domesticate me because I would jump and pull away when touched. Now as a furry, I give and receive hugs quite freely. I love them. The suit, any suit is amazing, even the partial I made myself and completed 2 weeks before Denfur this year. Suits are amazing.

You may not see this but, I had a question once you mentioned a common activity at conventions. Hugging and touching and the likes. Do you or any other suiters have advice on fabric disinfectant spray that would be faux fur safe, or techniques for disinfecting maintenance during conventions?

Wow! When I read the word "review", a completely different idea was pictured in my mind (those reviews that people complain about the purchase experience, as if a fursuit was a commodity like a smartphone, to begin with). About the purple fur not being clearly purple on camera, I recommend 2 scenarios: [1] getting at least 2 tripod-mounted directable lighting (expensive) or [2] buying an ironing table (if you don't already have one), an extension with at least 2 plugs (if you don't already have one), 2 desktop lamps with adjustable neck and regular lamp sockets, 1x 12W 6500K LED lamp, 1x 12W 3000K LED lamp, then you put one in each side pointing towards you and look towards the camera with that gorgeous hint of dual-tone inspired by bisexual lighting :3 Also, there's a background portion between the couch and the background plushies that are irregularly dark and steal attention as if something was wrong. I'd put some light there, even if there's no content to be seen.

Thanks for the suggestions! I actually like how things are lit in my videos thus far; I have a 60w COB LED light with a softbox and grid as my key light and I underexpose by .3 of a stop to keep the yellow fur from blowing out and really focus on my face, since that's the main subject of the videos. I do agree though that I need some more lights in for the shelves behind me, will definitely be looking to pick those up during the holidays!

What made you make the decision to get a plantigrade suit rather than a digitigrade suit? I am always curious about that sort of thing since ppl tend to have many different answers and opinions about the two, and its always interesting to hear different perspectives

Honestly it was due to practical reasons. I really wanted to be able to move around easily in my suit, and having the larger padded legs look fantastic, but makes walking around more of a chore.

I do not brush my fursuits with anything more than with my hands if i brush them at all. Almost all of my full fursuits are in the 15 to 20 year old range without me replacing the body suit do to the fur being pulled out by being brushed all of the time. I do need to replace one part of one of my fursuits and that is the under body suit of my Minotuar. My Minotuar has to layers of fur an under medium brown fur and a black long pile fur. The brown body suit fur is from a old bear animal costume I made over three decades ago and incorporated it into my Minotuar fursuit. The brown fur is starting to get a little thin in plases and im planing on replacing it one of theis years. I know of a number of fursuits where the bodysuit are looking quite ragged and the fursuits are only 5 to 10 years old. This is because the owners are always brushing their fursuits and pulling out all of the fur from the backing.

Paying for a fursuit that ran for at least a few grand, going to three conventions where one was with an international flight, plus all of the expenses of just living you are not in the working class I might even say you are not in the lower middle class. That is unless you did what furs are always being told not to do and not going into massive dept just to do furry things. The only exception to the last sentence is you have a fatal disease and have been told you have X amount of time to live and you really don't care what amount of dept you run up. So with being reasonable you sir have a very decent paying job. So congratulations on the hard work to get you where you are where you can afford such luxury items.
