My dear Loewe puzzle bag, Patrick is 5 yo now. He has grown so much and have seen a lot of ups and downs in my life. But my love for him has not faded one bit. I still love him dearly as the day I got him.

Hi Kenny, I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers. I think you make great videos and I really enjoy them. As for the puzzle bag , it looks like more than just the stitching is being changed. Apparently, it's the whole construction. Instead of putting the bag together like with pieces of a puzzle separately stitched onto the base leather, larger leather pieces are just being overlapped and stitched together. It's a quicker and easier process and will save production costs. Of course, the savings will not be passed on to the buyer. It's unfortunate since Loewe has such a reputation for high quality and intricate craftsmanship. As you say, the puzzle bag has become a classic. It's so iconic. I'm not a luxury bag collector but I fell so in love with the puzzle bag that I bought one pre-loved a few years ago. Then I went for some other colors, too. They are all the original version from the pre-loved market and were a fraction of the price new. The quality is so good that they are still in great shape. Anything made of leather should be taken care of and conditioned regularly - shoes, jackets, bags.I have no problem with that. I wish you well - enjoy your bags 😊 Greetings from Germany, Linda

Wow Linda! What can I say? That’s a huge compliment I don’t receive that often. As long as people enjoy my content I’m good but if more subbies would be happier. ☺️🩵 As for the supposed newer versions, the paring back of the qualities that I have loved from the bag is just for the brand/LVMH monetary gain nothing less. It’s not appealing to me at all. They’ve completely lost me on that redesign. However, I’m really glad we got our classics that we know and love! Thank you so much for your unwavering support to me. Honestly, $5k AUD is pretty much what leather luxury bags are at these days; tis madness! The puzzle is a lovely bag though and very unisex. I chose an edge version when the edge version was different and feel a bit put out that the edge is now all they’re making. I felt like I was buying a sort of limited edition one that is now going to be commonplace - a bit like Fendi and their sequinned SATC baguette. Something offered as special a few years ago only to be offered everywhere and in every shade nowadays. Anyway, love the colour of your Puzzle. Do I need a mini? 🤔

Hi Kenny, is the stone blue color easy to pair with your wardrobe too? How would you compare the 2 colors, camel tan vs stone blue? And would you have gotten a chocolate brown or a camel if you had the two presented to you? I’m torn on the colors.

Hi! Surprisingly yes! It is a subdued blue that almost looks like washed denim. I do use mine a lot. The tan one still is my fave thru and thru! It’s completes my looks overall and based from my wardrobe too it just fits.

I say check what colours you usually go for or what you have more of in your wardrobe so you can maximise the use of the bag.

@@minooverdi5459 The whole construction has been altered, so it is no longer the same bag. It only looks the similar. But seems to be working for Loewe since the new bag is cheaper to produce, and most people can't tell the difference, nor care to.
