As a Richmond supporter, I think the first 3 picks are a big tick. Hotton is a shrewd choice and is almost a like for like with Bolton. I do agree that Jonte Faull was picked too early as I would have gone Berry or Bo Allen. And I agree that they should have taken Shanahan instead of Faull, who is a 2nd round pick, not a pick 14. On the bright side, we got Trainor and Armstrong for a steal.

As a norths fan north needed another gun midfield the problem north have is there starting mids are great young players but there rotation players are average Also ldu still hasn't put pen to paper so there is no guarantee he will be there in 2026 so i love this

What are your thoughts on the Essendon/St Kilda pick swap early on. Was that move more about paying off the Saints to get them to not bid on Kako? Twomey had them bidding on both Lombard and Kako and they ended up not bidding on Kako.

The clubs are forcing the AFL to introduce a new system in the near future regarding points. At the moment there appears too many handshakes under the table; not a good look for a professional sport.
