Flyers killed it tonight. Sam Ersson has really taken up the task to be the main goalie, and he impressed me a lot tonight. He blocked a lot of crazy shots, and I'm just happy to see the Flyers play again. Everyone looked great.

0-0-2 was not on my bingo card to start the season for the Canucks. Lankinen earned himself the starting position after tonight. Not panicking yet, but it definitely feels like it’s going to be a long October…

I think it's actually a smart branding move. Thousands of youtube sports channels for north american sports were born in the last 18 months or so, and most of them feature sports jerseys: worn, hanging or framed in glass. No one does the goofy jerseys except THG.

Some Blues fans, need to relax. Besides New Jersey, the Blues are the only other team to play 3 games, and I believe NJ played their first 2 a week ago. The Blues started their season with 3 games in 4 nights, they were running on fumes, the last 5 minutes tonight, and they were still 1 shot away from tying the game. They gave a honest, hard working effort tonight, couldn’t say that about the Blues so much last year.

@@hockey4123 couldn’t agree more. Also, lot of new names on the team. Going to be a lot of trial and error to start the season. I’m just happy to see them working hard as a team. Fighting for pucks, searching for someone to pass to, sense of urgency, etc.
