One flaw I would give, and then again it's a flaw kind of outside the level : it was made for the Jam Gauntlet (JamAttack's contest) and it doesn't really fit the vibes of Glorious Fortress or The Cellar Path which was part of the conditions for the contest, this level is way more cartoony

@Davi-7274 Well, TCP and GF are cartoony too in their artstyles, sure, but they're also fantastic (as in in a fantasy world), for the first a path in your cellar leads you to a new magical world and for the other you explore an old fortress. In One Bad Apple, the location, for the entirety of the level, is an ordinary school, which is not very fantastic (again, as fantasy), plus when I said OBA was cartoony I meant as in goofy, in a good way of course, fighting a big evil apple with school supplies isn't the same as exploring a mysterious and magical place. But I mean, in the end it's my opinion, if you think it fits, then it fits for you, and maybe for JamAttack it will fit too

Probably my favourite gameplay in any demon ever. Was able to do it in one attempt and replayed it like 6 more times because of how great the gameplay is and how raw and cool the deco is

YES, for the first time in a long time I was legit jaw dropped throughout basically the entire level. It felt amazing to actually play an amazing level that has good deco AND good gameplay, which is really rare. I hope that more creators take more time improving gameplay in their levels. Personally, I would rather play a level with better gameplay and not the greatest visuals, then the best visuals ever with the worst gameplay.

6:30 You’re not alone - I died to that pencil like 7 times in normal mode. This is still the best level of 2025 so far imo (not that close to best level of 2.2 so far, I still prefer a majority of the NCS Gauntlet levels)

i have only 1 bit of criticism for one bad apple, which is that the final wave is quite laggy, even on ldm. probably just a sign that i need to upgrade my phone considering how optimised this level is (and how old my phone is). other than that, a perfect level. i love the gameplay, i love the apple's animations, everything is great except that final wave

With all due respect, this is the last time I ever listen to you about levels being perfect. I beat this about half an hour ago and it is without question one of the worst-playing levels I’ve EVER beaten. Nothing about the gameplay felt fair, fun, or consistent, there’s two completely unnecessary screen flashes at the transitions to the school section and the bossfight, the bossfight itself is hot garbage… it’s a genuine 0/100. Like, AN ACTUAL *ZERO.* Forsaken Neon, free level, Future Funk II, math, and Red Rooms (which is also my least favorite level of all time) are the only levels that match or surpass it. On the plus side, I’ll likely never complain about another Weekly Demon again, knowing that I had to go through this abomination…

this isnt just a level with no flaws the flaws ran away before the level was even created most 'peak' levels are not low in flaws by any means and instead go all in on one or two aspect the thing that makes this level unique (besides the things in the video) is the creator put effort to remove all the flaws and then making it look pretty good as opposed to say, dogshit gameplay but peak deco side note: yes i like the level also try to find issue with level challenge (IMPOSSIBLE EDITION)

Minor Hottake, if you dont click all the orbs in the start, this "thing" appears at the ball portal and kills you, I dislike this because its better to patch any unwanted gameplay, then to auto kill you, its kinda like what acheron did but still better.

The only issue I’ve found with it is that at the beginning you’re forced to hit certain wars. I tried to play the live practice mode and skipped a few orbs and the Level just killed me.
