Nah, the best save so far was the Freddie Anderson desperation denial on Noah Dobson. The shot hit Demko’s pad, he could’ve been standing still and the save still would’ve happened.

I gotta say the Predators played with a lot of heart trying to punch up but the Canucks were brutal in the middle of the ice in that third period. If they continue play like that, watch out everyone. I’m so glad playoff hockey is back. Good luck everyone!

Just got home from the game. Oh boy, for my first playoff game ever that really was perfect. The crowd was absolutely on one, I’ve never heard Roger’s arena so loud. My friends and I all left the match grinning ear to ear. Truly a memorable event :)

I live in the eastern US but I have always had a soft spot for the Canucks and it was a great game last night. The best series to watch any given year is the series with a team or teams who hasn't made the dance in a while.

I was so happy just to see how full and LOUD Rogers Arena was!! I notice sometimes they definitely enhance the crowd noises when there's no one there but last night they didn't need any of it. I'm honestly not even mad at how expensive tickets are right now, I'm just so glad to see fans packed back into the arena again!!

He came outa net and tried to draw a penaltie by not moving into his net. Nashville played dirty most of the game. Schen held the puck in his gear when he coulda let it drop but didnt. Player leg locked a canuck so he couldnt join the rush the other way. And there was a very obvious holding call in the third that wasnt called

Shannon you're not gonna believe me but, before this game I was talking to my friend (who introduced me to you and chose the Canucks as his 2nd team because of you) about how I think there should be a "Tim Thomas Award" given to the player that played years in the minors and when finally given the chance to play in the NHL, has an out of nowhere good season and I proposed that we give it to Dakota Joshua. I thought Preds were doing fine, we've played many grindy games that we eventually came out on top of this season, and we never trailed until the gwg in this game. It's a bummer to have all that fight in us (in both teams) for the narrative to just be the 12 seconds, but that's hockey! Looking forward to this series, when both sides settle down and start hitting the net with more of these shot attempts, we should see some more lopsided games, or at the very least, even more exciting ones!

Most definitely the two periods I watched the first and second I thought we played good but from what I’ve seen stupid mistakes in front of the net is what cost us and let the Canucks score in the 12 seconds. Hopefully Preds can fight back I know they are capable it’s just a matter of if they do.

Joshua was drafted by the Blues and played with them briefly. My impression of him during that time was that he never kept the puck on his stick more than a millisecond and that he didn't look to be anything more than a 4th liner at best. We'll see if his career continues to move in a positive direction.

Great team effort, great hard fought win, but one thing i noticed was petterson was almost invisible tonight and was on his hands and knees half the time he was out, hes our "star" forward i need to see more from him, especially in the playoffs, he looked good on the penalty kill but only had a couple offensive zone plays

Shannon, is there any chance of scoring a short-handed goal ending the power play coming into the league? That was my favourite of the rules they have been trying out. I think it will lead to more short-handed goals AND more power-play goals.
