the rangers tried to spark something with some early fights but couldnt even win those. They got decimated by the devils again, even their PK which was 1st in the league before this game crashed hard. to add some salt to the wound, devils played the video of rangers fans cheering the moment the devils picked hughes over kakko on the jumbotron.

He was injured when the roster selection happened. I imagine the GM's have an unspoken agreement with the team captains, to not push players into the 4 nations tournament if they had injuries at the time of the selection. Chef had some sort of injury where he couldn't even take face offs. I imagine he gotta be the first call up, when someone in the official roster gets injured.

Its amazing that a professional hockey team has zero pride in record time.. The NY Rangers fit that description to a tee. I have never seen a team so rapidly quit like the Rangers. I would support the Hartford Wolfpack and Rangers switching uniforms, they couldnt do worse.
