Sewing three white projects at the same time is a great idea! By jumping between them or batch sewing it will keep them all 'fresh.' also if you get stuck it will allow some time to ponder the next step. What I do to try to avoid paralysis by analysis is to think up six ways to do something and then just pick one of them.

Hi, Bri) Nice plans and very captivating video as always! I can't leave without saying that... no doubt... Pink coloured garments suits you extremely well. This shade of pink is totally yours. P. S. All of your videos are just excellent. Watch all of them and rewatch all the time, because you are really precious!

I appreciate hearing how you work with your brain for this project. Adhd perfectionism struggles are so real! Ive learned im just a chaos sewing goblin and ill start with a pattern and before i know it, ive changed it into something completely new. It probably not the best way to learn how to sew, but it seems to work for my brain 😅

Chaos Sewing Goblin is the best title!

Thankyou, a great walkthough of the course in your two shows. Your explanations of varying the process so it's useful to you and not trapping you were enlightening, sometimes a project isn't touched merely because it is on my "to do" list. Looking at a list as "a menu" is quite a freeing concept.

Yes! Sometimes “plans” make me feel claustrophobic. The menu concept helps relieve some of the pressure.

I could see your green grid fabric in a Jennifer Lauren Handmade Isla Wrap dress, but that might be because I'm making one in a green gingham! 😬😆 I try to have multiple projects cut out at once. It doesn't always work, but I love having different options to work with when I get some time/energy to sew. I hope you can find a good balance and not get too much in your head about these projects. You've got a lot of beautiful options!

Ooh I have had my eye on that pattern. And the green fabric you’ve got is amazing!

Thanks for taking the time to share your thinking process. Your reflections are always very inspiring. I also love your dusty colour fabrics as these are the ones that look great on me too. In regards to planning, I am still sewing basic garments, so I write a list of things I need the most in my wardrobe, and focus on following it as much as possible; I never sew everything, and it is okay. I can't wait to be able to sew dungarees, dresses, etc., but for now: basic garments in solid colours, so I can wear them on rotation non-stop 😂

Yes! I love a me-made basic. Some of my favourite makes are just solid tees. It felt boring at first, but I get a little extra happy to wear it because I made it!

Maybe you'd like the Style Arc Asha dress? Has a gathered waistline, but it's otherwise quite minimalist.

I love the Jennys. Do they go up to a size 32 in the pdf or not yet ? Love your plans Bri and how you are being aware of and responding to your brains behaviours. Such honest, feeling reflection. I make a lot of plans, if I feel very clearly that a fabric wants to be a certain garment I struggle to change the plan, some garments have been 3 or 4 years before they are made 😂😂

I got in touch with Closet Core and they said they’re working on bringing the Jenny’s into the full sizing this year. So exciting! And yes, I also have a hard time pivoting once I’ve got a plan in mind m. Im hoping to sew up some of my longstanding plans soon!

@@brimichellemade oh good ! My longest from thought to sew was a liberty needle cord TATB Rosa dress. It is still so beautiful and definitely exactly my vision when I bought the fabric. I had The Fear that I would do something irredeemable and wrong .......
