Hey, Sukhaja, I've been enjoying Stephen King's works immensely, too! Ever since I first read The Shining 😄 Last month, I picked up a short story collection called Full Dark, No Stars. It has quite a few brutal themes, but again, the storytelling is such that you simply can't put the book down. You've sold me on Salem's Lot 🤩 Adding it to my TBR!

I'm an English major and I love Stephen King 😬 Pet Sematary is my favourite, but his best work imo is one that isn't horror or crime, "The Girl Who Loves Tom Gordon" - the descriptive writing is insane. As an English teacher, I use passages from this book as examples of good writing all the time.

@@sapodilla25 thanks for the recommendation! I haven’t heard of the girl who loves Tom Gordon before. Sounds cool and after your comment, I am planning to read pet semetary as well at some point ♥️

Hi..... I would love to know which was your favorite short story in Night Shift??? Mine was "I am the Doorway"....Also you should read "Skelton Crew", in my opinion it's his best collection of short stories.... And among his novels, my favorite are Pet Cemetery, The Stand, Needful Things and 11.22.63.... Do give it a try, they all are bulky but totally worth it....

@@Rash23215 thanks so much for sharing your favourites. I like the story about the possessed washing machine best. I still haven’t read May of your favourite novels by him but I hope to read pet semetary next.
