Fun fact about Plamo Kyoshiro. During the final arc, a tournament takes place in which model kits of both gundam and other series can be used to fight. This includes things like kits of real world fighting equipment, Scoopedog from Votom, and even an X-wing. But one in particular stood out. Somebody apparently brought a statue of Pazuzu from the exorcist 2. They brought an elder demon to a gundam fight.

Correction: while normal Robot Damashii releases are indeed non-scale, releases in the ANIME subline are proper 1/144 scale, same as High Grade model kits.

It's from Plamo Kyoshiro from 1982, which is basically the predecessor to Building Fighters. The main difference is that Plamo Kyoshiro included all kinds of model kits, not just Gundam kits, which makes for some fun fights.

I'm new to the hobby and RG wing zero EW is technically my first build since my first attempt at Forbidden, Astray Blue, TV Heavyarms and that one dog Gundam from Seed that failed horribly nearly a decade ago. I'm in need for a new hobby to pass time since the gaming industry has soured itself for me. Watching mechagaikotsu has reignite my passion. Just a confession, wanting to air that out.

A word of warning for anyone buying one of these. The skirt doesn't always want to cooperate when you attached the armor pieces, and the two bits on the side skirt can and will break off if you're not careful. Otherwise it's a good, solid figure.

The Robot Damshii figures is technically the successor to the MSIA line

They’re more like pre-built models than MSIA. They’re made out of a hard and probably brittle plastic akin to the polystyrene that Gunpla is made of. They feel really nice, but you should treat them with care. MSIA are built as action figures first, so while their PVC construction can look warped and feel kinda cheap, they’re built to be played with and abused. The new Gundam Universe line is made along the same line of thinking, though at 6 inches tall they tower over other MSIA figures.

Leo Lied 67 At this point, I’d consider Gundam Universe to be the successor to MSIA as they’re built with the same goals-affordability and durability. While Robot Spirits did directly succeed MSIA, Robot Spirits figures are designed for a different crowd. Robot Spirits figures feel really good, but are liable to break if you don’t treat them with care. They’re kinda designed as display pieces first, action figures second; they’re big boy toys, so to speak.

Thoughts on Perfect Gundam: The Perfect Gundam Robot Damashii has a great range of flexibility and posability. The flexibility is a great thing to have on figures such as this one but I believe that plamodels could get the same amount of flexibility and posability As well, the Perfect Gundam is really similar compared to the Origin Gundam and it basically is just an upgraded (aka. over-adjusted) version of the Origin. I think that it is a gundam for it’s design too because unlike other gundams which are completely different or more darker colours: this gundam has so many bright colours which separates it from the other gundam designs. I know that some people dislike Build-Fighter type gundams but this gundam is an exception. Some people may dislike it’s style because it may be close to rx-78-2 but this is better than the rx-78-2 as it shows more of an illustration (?) and it shows more of a custom made gundam style which is almost intentional but it also has one of those heavier type war-ish-commando bulk style too! There wire-parts of the gundam is also what shows that Zaku-design. Though, I believe that it could also be lowered down a bit (less flashy and less crazy looking). Anyways, I hope you liked my review but this is only my personal opinion: please tell me your opinions in the replies!

Just ordered mine from amazon for a actual decent price. With that my figure list (so far) is: GM Cold District with a HI-Gogg, GM Custom, GM Command (i think thats the name, from early stardust episodes), Dom, Gundam ZZ, some red robot thats not gundam with a sword and shield, the great 666 (sadly mustve hit one of the funnle effects and broke it... gotta get that clear piece out), the gundam universe strike and barbatos, MSIA Aueg MK.II and gogg, Fix Figuration Titan MK.II and the Blue Full Armor Gundam, and Metal Build C1 Zeta.
