I was SHOCKED by the 2 star rating on the cruel prince trilogy. I ate those books up, in my opinion they are amazing. If you like fantasy and enemies to lovers you need to give them a try

everytime i come across another person that hates it I'm always very entertained. A lot of the times there's no in between. people either hate it or love it. I think a lot of people want more romance in it lol. The rating for the book on goodreads has somehow gotten even lower too HAHAHA. It's very funny to me even though I would be the first person to recommend the series to anyone looking for a good fantasy (i'm obsessed with those books😭)

judging by her other reads I think she may of thought it was heavily romance driven which it very well wasn't. I think thats what distinguishes the love and the hate for this trilogy.

Yeah same I'm obsessed with the series, in my opinion it flowed really well and i loved the slow burn of enemies to lovers

riiight?! maybe faeries (folklore) isn't really her thing because she didn't love Emily Wilde's folk of air is the LITERAL BLUEPRINT for enemies to lovers. idk if anyone could do it better. and the character development and world building is immaculate!! (also im still surprised that i never knew the 🐍 part hahahaaa) i read tcp in 2019 but didn't continue for some reason and recently read them all and LOVVVED THEM!! 😌💜

Des will forever be the ONLY person I trust with ratings. She and I just have the same taste and tend to rate books very similarly. Finally a person that feels the same way I do about Mile High. Just couldn’t read it and DIDN’T like the guy even though I tried repeatedly to get the hype.

It’s so crazy how different opinions can be. You loved The Last Word and one of my other favorite booktubers really did not like it and gave it 1 star. I loved Then She Was Gone, even though I guessed the plot within the first several chapters I still ate it up and gave it 5 stars, yes it was heartbreaking but so good. And Iron Flame I’m just obsessed with the world and characters so it’s a 5 star for me even though I did not like the ending and am still heartbroken.
