The Brownflex seems very close to the Greenflex, according to your description, with the Greenflex having more height in the toe box. I picked up a pair of Greenflex’s. They are among my favorite few pairs of boots. Very well made. Nothing’s there that doesn’t need to be there. It’s so elegant. Thanks for the great review!

I think that’s a key to manufacturing simplicity, just a few small changes and you have a different product.

Great video, as always. I've been looking at chukkas since falling in love with my Red Wing Work Chukkas (a surprise hit). I prefer the look of the Greenflex, but really like leather insoles and can't convince myself to buy a boot with anything less.

I love your videos in general, but I do find that video playing in the background pretty distracting. I think it really takes away from your presentation. Just my opinion. I’m staying subscribed though!

These felt like smooth leather to me and not really nubuck? Does is it need to be conditioned?

@@DS_87 they are corrected grain so oiled nubuck or Crazy Horse type. Like all leather they’ll eventually need conditioner

The interior of this shoe, is it all lined in vegetable tanned leather? Is there any fabric/synthetic used by the toe area, on the interior beside the footbed?

Just got the same pair. They look great but are really painful on the side of the foot. Next to the pinky toe. Do they require a break in period? Thx.

@@880videoman that's what I went with and haven't had any problems. I didn't pay super close attention, though, but the fact that I never questioned the size probably means it is

I bought a pair of their Chelsea boots a while back and wasn’t able to keep them due to sizing issues. With that said I think they are priced about right. Despite all the bluster about the boots being Italian made, the materials are nothing special and construction is a bit sloppy. You’re not getting a $300-400 boot for $200, but they are better than Clark’s or other ubiquitous brands.
