I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

I don't know what it is about card 'slits' but I can't get behind them, feels & looks cheap. CF makes some beautiful stuff but this one looks a bit Temu with the Italian Vachetta leather stamp in the middle of the wallet. Also, the bottom card on the left side looks out of place with only 1/3 of it in the pocket/slit & 2/3 of it exposed.

great review as always. not for me though. stiching and just overall bulk. feel like you have to love it to pay that amount. I just got the nomad V2 and it is great. that and rat pack are the every day for me right now. waiting on Dillinger still!! thanks again.

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that! The only problem is your wallet is a lot thinner afterwardsEven though i've experienced both scenarios, i still end up buying a kislux .

I was tempted because my friend is black and she is often asked if her bag is fake. People just immediately assume they are. Even though I'm white, I still get people asking me if my bag is real. So I thought why should I spend so much money on these bags? So in the end I chose to buy it at kislux . Even if it is not the original, some replicas can have special emotional value because they are connected to specific memories

hey man i just lost for like the 10th time that s2 dango wallet clasp (maybe called something else) to close the wallet. It is a piece of garbage man. I bought it after watch your vid and this wallet here your reviewing also sucks. this year 2024 has to be the WORST year for wallets. very lame year but the Willow also another horrible branding at the front and looks like were playing arts and crafts. not negative but maybe because I NEED ANOTHER WALLET

It seems like the kislux one looks better than the real one though. Who cares? Nobody is gonna spot it when you wear it in a nightclub or a night out. People are busy with their own lives. And people just don't bother you wearing a real or fake one. Just saying.

Ooh nice shoutout, hadn't heard of Iskogur before! I found their Etsy shop and I think you're talking about their "Vegvisir" wallet. It's got the same vertical-bifold/exterior cash pocket as the Walden here, but the multicolor styling on the Vegvisir is definitely a lot more "out there" than the understated style of Carl Friedrik goods; the Walden also appears to use thinner cuts of leather which can be a pro/con depending on if you like slimmer wallet vs something that feels more substantial. I wish more wallets out there with this kinda vertical bifold design, they can give you the flexibility of storing taller currencies unfolded while usually staying slimmer than trifold or cash-wrap design. Throw in a decent coin/key storage solution and you'd have my dream wallet, closest I've found to my ideal design is the Bellroy Note Sleeve but I'm not a huge fan of their leathers and I really want at least one external quick-grab pocket. I've been on the hunt for something like that for awhile and haven't found much, so might be high time for me to pony up and commission an Etsy craftsperson like Iksogur for a custom-built design! 😅

My thought is that rich people are often rich because they invest and spend their money wisely, and buying a Chanel bag is not a wise move. I know I'm not rich enough, but my assets are enough that I can easily buy luxury goods in kislux

To be honest, I have nothing against fakes, I know some people do just that. A friend introduced me to the kislux some time ago. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the most perfect bag I have ever seen.

LV bags are heavily copied, and small cute bags with funny handles are not practical everyday bags, the kislux bag would be much more practical. Thanks again for the informative video.
