Reviewing the Voopeak TC22 Solar Integrated Trail Camera

I've seen multiple, positive reviews on this particular model. I'm planning to test it again this winter. I think I just happened to receive one that didn't have a sensor that working properly.

Great real-world test of the trail cam. Sad to find out that the sensor did not trigger, that explains why it’s still 100% battery life. Love your MOTM. Take care ❤

Hey John, 2XL I think is an asian sizing. I have one and I had to wear it too. The material is nice, you're right. Their sister company Campark sent me their TC08 last year, and I've really liked it. Voopeak sent me their solar / cellular camera, and Im struggling with it. Giving them a chance to help me figure things out but having a hard time with a review because of issues I faced. My TC08 was perfect. So maybe yours is an oddity... Either way I appreciate the honesty!! Odd that you had sensor issues.

Man that sure stinks it didn’t preform because the quality was really great. Like you said it could have been a faulty camera or return maybe they will reach out to try another one. I really like the fact it had a solar panel integrated and that buckle was a nice feature. Great job on the review brother and thanks for keeping it real👍

I love the idea of the solar powered camera, but not good that it only picked up about half the time you walked in front of it. You'll have to let us know if they send you another one. Maybe this one just is defective?

Hey John, A question, and you may have already took this into account. When walking across the field of the camera, what was your pir interval and you video record length set at. Did you pause after walking across the field of view to let these run their cycle? I am sure you did and either way, this does not take into account the first video did not take or the first couple when you retrieved the camera from the mountain. Good catch on that malfunction though.

Joey, I believe I had it set for 30 seconds, and I did pause to give it a chance to reset. It's been a few weeks so I don't remember for sure. I was wondering if when I walked up on it in the mountains if I didn't wait long enough in between stops, but I know I did on the tests at the house. Thanks so much for watching.
