Thanks SeeDaveRun. Glad you like it, I will eventually make a new Assault game especially now that First Person is out. I transferred my Assault map to first person and ended up simplifying the loadout system for players. Glad you liked it, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I release a new one

This was the first thing I saw when I opened youtube today, and I'd like to say thank you so much for checking out my map! I do hope you didn't run into any crazy bugs along the way, as I haven't had the chance to play the map with friends myself in a couple of months, and have no idea what may have broken in that time. I may still revisit this map in the near future to atleast update to new lighting, and maybe make some class changes along the way.

thanks for trying out the map! thought I removed the plug🤭. Combat isn't for everyone but I tried putting a spin on the classic formula while still recreating my favourite OG feature. Hope you enjoyed though.

Also was wondering about something regarding the map itself. Earlier I made one map with 5 full on pois, each very different. I scrapped it for and switched to tilted because I was afraid of spending too much time for it to fail. Would the map be more fun with different brand new pois? anyways keep up the vids

Reduce the size, focus on maybe just 3 fully original POIs that actually make sense together, and feel fully flushed. It may very well take you a while, and yes, it might fail. But putting no effort into will also likely result in a fail. So just focus on making something you're REALLY proud of.

Thanks for reviewing fall runners lol I played tested that map a bunch of times and didn’t noticed the end game device 😭 until now and yeah the fall guys maps are kinda buggy hopefully they fix it .

It sucks to know a lot of these maps have good ideas but will always be topped by color vs color or enter famous show box fights that are the laziest cashgrab maps you’ve ever seen. Wish more players played maps with actual original ideas put into them

I think that's always going to be the constant battle, until something major changes. What that change needs to be exactly, I'm still not entirely sure.

@ honestly I think epic should do another one of those creative events with cosmetic quest attached to them to force players to play genuine maps and see that creative can offer them a genuine fun experience. They also definitely need to focus on non combat related tools because I feel a big reason there’s barley any diversity in games is that you can really only make gun games and for a platform that’s trying to compete with Roblox and other UGC platforms they’re shooting themselves in the foot with how much they lack in the other genre fields. Idk the most realistic approach they could do is just really put good maps on a pedestal and shove basic boxfight maps to the bottom of the discovery page so players actually see they have good games to play

Part of me also thinks they should just remove the accolades device from Creative entirely, and just make it a flat playtime XP mission that tracks across multiple maps like they have now, but make it repeatable. It's too easy to exploit the XP system right now, which results in those maps flying to the top, before the system eventually caps the XP, then they just do it over again. If you got the same amount of XP no matter what you played, we would definitely see a drop off of players that were ONLY in Creative for XP, but we would get more people overall actually trying out different maps.

I knew I was gonna get a mixed bag when I asked for submissions, but my overall goal was to get people's ideas out there, give feedback, get others to give feedback, and then see creators go on to make even better maps. I'll do more of these in the future, and I'm excited to see how things evolve.
