I imagine there are more than a few of those maps that either you or the public (if they're published) are not playing anymore. So you can likely delete those for new ones. Realistically, 50 maps is plenty, no need to hoard old ideas just so they can collect dust.

Hi ! Which are the rules to promote islands on your channel ?

No rules, but my goal here isn't necessarily to just promote maps upon request. All the maps I've reviewed, I've predominantly found myself, and my opinions of them are honest. I am doing an upcoming viewer submitted map video though, where I'm specifically reviewing maps my viewers created. My opinions there will be honest as well, so feel free to drop your map code below, but if I don't like it, I'm gonna tell folks but I will also provide some constructive feedback - just be aware.

They should allow you to switch the random cheasts to whatever season’s loot you want so you aren’t stuck with primal weapons

It seems like an easy fix to me to fix chests the same mechanic that the item spawner has, in that you can either just drop the items you want into it (if you're in regular Creative) or just choose the content from a drop down menu (if you're in UEFN). Maybe that's a more complex process than I'm giving them credit for, but I think it'd 100% be worth the effort, given the impact it would have on map creativity.

Hey! I used to be with Zen Creative, the team behind the Mio map. While I wasn't involved in that project (they made it before I joined the team), we sometimes joked about how broken it became. Fortnite maps often break due to game updates and maintaining them is a lot of work. Teams will usually only fix maps if brands pay for their upkeep. The brands usually don't. The maps just get left to rot and break. I noticed you played a lot of maps that are a year old or more, so it was clear why they weren't working for you~ It honestly wasn't surprising 😭 If you ever try brand maps out again, I'd say go for ones that were launched in the past month or two at the time of recording! Newer ones are typically updated with bugs fixes until the hype dies down. If you have any questions about what it's like to make a branded map I'd be happy to answer the best I can!

I checked the updates for each map I played, and the majority of the maps I played were actually updated within the year. But I totally understand your point, and I'm very aware of that as a general issue. It's something I discussed in my "The REAL Problem with Fortnite Creative" video. I definitely wasn't trying to make the glitches in these maps the focus though, more the general strangeness and forced nature of them. I would love to talk with you further though as developer if you're still doing it. I am planning on doing a future video that will feature several interviews with developers. Multiple people brought it up actually. It's just a visual glitch that was happening at the time for a lot of people anytime you would join a Creative map. It would set your level to zero and count all the way back up to where you actually were at. It was very annoying.

this mode does not have enough people. it's so small that I recognize people from older matches. this video does a great job explaining it but doesn't do a good job giving it justice. you can make some absolute heat in jam stage. I've made at least 4 hours of content on it on my channel.

I checked out your stuff and I gotta give you credit, you definitely make some dope remixes. I think the real problem is that there just isn't a demand for it. It's a glorified mini game in a sea of other maps and modes. So while it's fun and unique, it just doesn't have what it takes to hold people's attention, especially if you haven't amassed a large collection of songs to remix, which most players haven't found the need to invest in.

@@SeeDaveRun thanks, and yeah, that all makes sense. I happen to be fortunate enough to get vbucks from save the world, so i can buy any track I'd like. I can understand why people who aren't as fortunate wouldn't play it. I personally think that with the direction fortnite has been going, they should offer more free vbucks to players, whether it be in the battle pass or just giving us challenges to earn some.

Someone had mentioned in another comment that they supposedly had it in Creative briefly, but it caused a number of issues, so they removed it. I haven't looked into that claim myself though.

bro you hit the nail on the head!, i make games in fn full time and there are so many bugs and things we just dont have! i they brought seeds/upgrade bench and stw would reall make me want to keep making games as we have pretty much the same stale devices from 4 years ago! great video please do one on bug, there are some funny posts in the uefn forums on how they wont fix things because they cant recreate it, but thats the definition of a bug
