I wasn’t able to submit my room because I only learned about this now. I live in a dorm in a American college that the dorm was built in 1957… and it really shows… like our staircase has pink tile walls. And the basement feels like you were transported back to the 50s. I have a blanket with my coolege logo that I got as a gift from a family member for being accepted to college. I have a small bookshelf with toilet bound hanako Kun and blue period and a few other small volumes. The rest of my collection is at home. I have a massive pile of squishmallows and stuffed animals. Also I have a Jojo poster. And the window is lined with succulents

50:44 I have never encountered a heating system, other than a split heat pump system with wall mount units, that is not on or near the floor. Hot air rises up and creates convection in the room.

In the USA the vents on the floor are usually under windows to help temperature control due to windows usually letting the air and sun threw (drafts) it’s usually only with HVAC systems which are large units that can heat and cool the house. It’s a forced air system so it’s one machine with ductwork that goes to each room in the house to better temperature control the whole house as a unit. Splits make more since in other countries and the USA is starting to use them but it’s not as common because it’s considered much more unsightly than the traditional HVAC system.😂 so ya

40:58 Connor I can tell you out of my own experience, that is a cheap bonded leather computer chair where the glue failed and it flaked off. These are common in USA office supply stores. Very few chairs are worth buying new from them. For me I got off easy as mine was barely used only for $10 from a garage sale. Now the time for that to happen? About a year of constant use. Those chairs are just a loosing game for longevity. Budget buyers are just better off with a fabric seat and a mesh back when getting started with a cheap computer chair if they don't have any chronic pain needs.

Connor would hate my room, 2 desks, one being a corner desk on a flat wall, 2 computers each with 1 monitor, no chairs, the bed is pressed against the desks in place of chairs. on the other side of the bed is the worlds thinnest closet with exactly 2 inches of room to access the things in closet. there is straight shelf balanced on top of asymmetric shelf that you have to walk diagonal into the room because its blocking part of the door. a hat rack with so much shit on it that I have to strategically place things so it doesn't fall over in the night
