*NOTE* Please read - This video was filmed over 3 weeks ago. It was my last filming day before I left. I filmed 3 videos and was rushing to get all 10 videos filmed before I left. I’ll be back to more thorough reviews in September. Second, since this video was filmed, I’ve learned that this is not a re-release of the Born This Way Concealer, but a new release. Also, Jackie Aina was not involved in helping with the shade range for these...only the foundations. Finally, the holo=iridescent thing was me trying to say that the lipgloss is NOT holo, but iridescent. I hope this clears things up. The internet connection is very spotty up here in Alberta, so I’ll do my best to answer questions and comments when I can! Thank you for watching!!!!

What a fantastic idea! We don’t have anything like project beauty share over here, so I may try calling a couple of funeral places etc to see if they can use things. I don’t know if they have to use specific things for the cosmetic part of embalming but it’s definitely worth looking into! Thanks

Ok. I just LOVED this video! I don't even wear concealer at all (Maybe next year when I hit the BIG 40) LOL I needed a "Jen Fix" and I am so glad I watched. You reminded me of why I love you and your channel so much. Keepin it so REAL girl with the "up close and personals" and the "lets go ahead and just drag this down" with the eyes. You are gorgeous inside and out so no matter what you do to your face, you can't go wrong. I just love how your channel is LITERALLY like siting down with a close friend who also likes to have fun with makeup and experimenting and sharing what some might consider the "weird looks" of beauty. This concealer is amazing! So much better than Shape Tape. Not drying and cakey like ST, but luminous, full coverage and light still somehow. I am buying a few more to use as foundation! Plus for how much you get it's super inexpensive

I just bought one (Nude) last night. Trying for the first time today. I am 56 with some fine lines under the eyes. I liked the way it applied and the color is perfect for me (although wanted to swatch Almond, but they didn't have it). It's going to be 95 here today so we'll see how it goes!

I wore it while using my weed eater for 45 minutes in 85 degree heat with a face mask, eye goggles, and a hat and I was hot! When I came in to get water, I was afraid to look, but it looked like the moment I put it on! I did set it with the Japonesque Velvet touch pressed powder. I went out and did more yard work and it still looked good. So far, a thumbs up from me. I just used a couple dots and pressed it on with a damp RT sponge.

I have super dry skin. I love this so much. Just beautiful. I do not put it in the crease under my eye. I learned that from watching someone. Just on the dark circles. I am amazed at how nice it is.

I am 49, light and dry skin. I have had success with this concealer in the shade snow for my under eye area. However, I use a night cream under my eyes before applying makeup. I do not have issues with creasing unless I forgo night cream. I was laughing when you tried to contour but I was also nervous you would get product in your hair. Thanks for the review!

I've tried this concealer only 1 time so far. I used the color warm sand and then set with the Too Faced Ethereal Translucent Setting Powder in Medium. I liked the results of these two products when used together. Also I agree with Shelby Hall. I don't think a concealer should be used to contour. I've added the concealer and powder into my makeup routine so we will see if I feel the same in a month or so. Great review...TFS

Your channel gives some of the most honest reviews. You’ve talked me out of purchasing more products than you’ve talked me into purchasing. I’ve got super oily skin with very dry under-eyes (the joys of turning 40?) - as far as high end concealers, I think the classics have stayed staples for a reason... love my NARS radiant creamy concealer for under the eyes (bummer that they are no longer cruelty free)

Hi Jen! When I saw your thumbnail in my feed I thought it was a mistake, a vision or an old vid, but I would've known if I'd watched it, let's say it was a pleasant surprise to come across it and to know they thought of you for PR. I think the value is great because it's quite an amount compared to other concealers (cough, tape shape) that look as big in the bottle. The contour looked more like a bronzer to me, but then again you applied too much and you saw what happened (giggles) and I love it lol I only use concealer to cover dark circles or to highlight, not to contour (I contour w/powders)

I cannot comment on highlighting or contour but I am 65 with normal skin (wrinkles-lots/orange peel skin too) a very little goes along way and for me it works very well. If I use too much it caked, must blend fast and light touch and I love it...

I just bought this concealer, and so far, I'm really enjoying it. I have normal-leaning-dry skin. I'm not used to high coverage concealers, so I find the coverage on this to be amazing, but it isn't drying like shape tape is for me. The shade range definitely runs really warm. I find that it wears pretty well throughout the day for me. Not the MOST long wearing perhaps, but definitely enough for the average day. It's not cheap, but given the amount of product (way more than even shape tape), I think it's worth it!

In my opinion, no concealer should be able to be used for contour. Contour is supposed to have almost a grayish tone and most concealers have peachy, pink or yellow undertones. When they came out with this product and said it's for highlight, conceal and contour I thought it was a bunch of crap. I swatched the two lightest shades because reviews have said they aren't very light and oxidize. They do . They oxidize and none seem to have pink undertones. They all seemed to go more peachy on my cool skin tone. I think it's a good value for money if it works for you. The only other concealer I know of that has a half ounce is Lancome's effecernes waterproof. I wish companies would stop trying to out ShapeTape Tarte. Just make a good damn concealer and quit worrying about ShapeTape. I have it and it's way too drying for me.

Shelby Hall I feel you on the top peachy thing.. I have a hard time using ANY too faced complexion products because they’re sooooo dang yellow!!! Or peachy!!! Even their ‘cool’ shades don’t seem cool to me. Kinda sucks because I REALLY love the peach foundation :( I’m also very fair so that makes it even more difficult because in their shades I’m limited to about two colors that might possibly work!!

Matte eyeshadow works well as a contour, pick a grayish/brown (taupe?) one and away you go.

Ali Turner Guuuuurl you said it!!! I am a very neutral cool tone and that foundation looked banana yellow on me no matter the shade! My opinion on TooFaced is that they are sort of an overpriced teen makeup brand. Their eyeshadows blow and you can buy much better products for the same price at Sephora and elsewhere. I personally will never purchase anything from them again. I have 2 small eyeshadow palettes from them and they are very disappointing for the price.

When I swatched the two lightest shades my sephora had out I actually laughed. If a concealer is going to oxidize THAT MUCH, then make lighter shades to accomodate!!! This whole release from TF is about "inclusivity" but theyre really not being inclusive if their lightest shade is a light-medium. The spectrum goes both ways.

It has 15 mL of product, tho, so $28 for that amount is a much much better value than drugstore concealers. Maybelline Age Rewind has 6 mL. And that Maybelline Dream lumi touche that's supposed to be the YSL touche eclat pen thing dupe only has 1.5!

I just use this for undereye concealer, but I really like it so far! It doesn't dry out my under eye like shape tape does, but wears very similarly. I have super oily skin and I will say that it tends to wear off of the rest of my face, but so does everything else so I'm not holding that against it!

This is super interesting- so I got mine a week ago, and it's really worked well for me. So much so that I've now switched over to using this one as my main concealer. I didn't end up with any caking. What I did notice was that I had to prime my face with either Glossier moisturizing primer or with Too Faced Hangover or else I would end up with a lot of lines under my eyes. Apparently Too Faced recommends putting this on your hand before putting it on your face to warm up the product? I heard that in another video- Rachhloves I think?- and that's worked very well for me.

The same color that looks warm on lighter skin can look neutral or even cool/ashy on darker skin. Whenever I apply a foundation that is too dark or oxidizes too dark, it always looks orange. A darker color in a complexion line, at least for pale to light skins, will probably work alright as a bronzer. ❤️

Hey!! Just thought I’d share why I think the price is fair 🤑. If you calculate the ounces per dollar you can easily compare it to other brands. The too faced born this way concealer is $1 per every 0.0172 ounces. My current favorite is the Makeup Revolution concealer which is $1 per every 0.0157 ounces. And last and far from least is the Tarte Shape Tape at $1 per 0.0122 ounces 😒. These numbers show that this new concealer is competing with drugstore prices for the amount of product you’re picking up! I’m definitely thinking of purchasing it. Much love ❤️

I love to contour with concealer. I do all the time. Not every complexion needs a gray contour. I use the NYX concealer to contour and it’s one of their deeper shades. I cream contour with the concealer then powder contour. I can’t find the correct shade for a liquid contour, so I contour with a liquid concealer, which has plenty of colors and under tones that work fantastic with my complexion. I think that one mistake that was made here, is the fact that you still had some of the first color on the sponge that you were trying to contour with, unless you washed the color out off camera. That last shade you chose looked like a good contour color, to me. At least that’s probably the shade I would have chosen to use for my complexion.

I tried using the Chestnut as a contour and it was a hot red mess. Made for a funny video, but I returned it. I love my concealer shade though. This is very pigmented. Worked well on my 50+ dry skin also.

I heard this was much more hydrating then shape tape. I put some of my friends on the back of my hand and it actually wore almost all day! I was washing my hands and remembered I had it on and water was actually beading up on the concealer! I never saw anything saying it was water resistant or anything but it was on the back of my hand! I think the price for the amount is really great! Especially since the original concealer is half the size and a dollar less!
