Santana's music has occupied my life since I was barely 10 and I remember SMOOTH, MARIA, SUPERNATURAL and BLACK MAGIC WOMAN being played on repeat at my home. So thank you to the Grammy channel for sharing this clip of a well deserved triumph. I even want each discerning listener to give his album AFRICA SPEAKS from two years ago a chance. His collaboration with Buika makes for a truly wonderful experience.

This is & always will be my favorite song. A song that is second only to THE TWIST BY CHUBBY CHECKER ON time spent #1 on the charts, must be good to others, not just me. I have a Alexa in my bathroom & I have her play SMOOTH & other oldies while I’m showering & I have the best time singing Smooth & the oldies.
