Hooray! Love this movie. Such a good cast, great creepy and scary moments(the skulls in Kaa's pool, the sand trap, the quicksand and the whole scene with Shere Khan face to face with Wilkins stuck in my head when I was a kid.) Wilkins actor can't catch a break. Eaten by a tiger and a horrible tentactle of an octopus..thing.

Lol same there’s a lot of good things in this movie. Same I remembered him fumbling the bullets and that face to face. Yes he does fair well in Stephen Sommers movies.

5:32 this was the set on Lot B, which was directly behind Lot A where Congo (1995) was filmed. if you walked through the diamond temple/cave you'll come out here. maybe.

1. I remember that movie years ago. 2. Wish Jungle Book movie 1994 is on Disney Plus. 3. I like your hat.

Me too. Especially the 2015 version of Cinderella, the Lone Ranger, and 2014 maleficent.

The chase scene through the city was such a favorite. Loved the music to it too. The fight scene between Mowgli and Tabaqui(sp? Giant Indian man) was classic too. Great music as well. Sounded like the devil's circus or something.

I wanted to see your reaction when Kaa the snake burrows under the treasure. That part freaked me out when I was a kid

That part always got me as a child too. Something about the monkey’s reaction and then silence.

Wow, glad to find another childhood lover of this gem. I of course saw the previews of this one, during the 90s. I came across the cassette and the cover at a friend's house in spring 1997, and i borrowed it. I was in 6th grade at this time(just turned 12). Anyways, i found myself totally in love with this movie, and watched it a whole bunch of times just during that period of time.

Cute ears. Golden Doe your the best. Jason Scott Lee is a good actor. I wish he was in more stuff. You should check out Rapa Nui

Though a live action remake of the Disney animated version, I find the 2016 version more entertaining and the 1942 version being my first intro to it, in movie form, more to my liking.

Didn't find the kid actor in the 2016 good at all but it was a good movie non the less.
