Revisiting Colombia’s dangerous and dizzying zipline to school (Learning World: S5E13, part 1/2)

It's a journey to school like no other. Four years ago, Learning World travelled to Los Pinos in Colombia, where we met the 'niños del cable', a handful of children who have to use a precarious zipline to get school in a village on the other side of a deep canyon.

Why not give the kids a tablet with lots of educational books and documentaries that they can choose at their level and a solar panel to power it. What they need to know is how to defend an argument, how to quantify risk/reward, how to achieve goals, how to read advanced material, etc…

The thing is that they dont want to move to the other side of the Montain , they just want for them a cable car that cost a lot of money for 3 familys. They need to organized themeselves and work together with authorities. The Money is limit for that town, and they want a cable car just for 3 of them. The goberment have offered them land in the other side for them to move, but they refuse because its a quite place. Seriously.
