Revisiting Cupra's Formentor VZ2 in 2023 | Review

The cupra formentor is so quick and a brilliant daily car. The cupra formentor is cupras first standalone product away from its traditional seat partnership. The Cupra formentor runs a 2.0 turbo engine but it has the same sound as the 2.5 engine. It is enhanced sound in the cabin similar to what i found in the new audi S3. It sounds great but its not a 5 cyclinder. HOWEVER, with the 2.5 5cylinder vz5 of the formentor available in europe have we been shot changed here in the UK? Either way this is a brilliant car and i love what cupra have done with this thing!

I have one. Bought brand new in 2022. Perhaps the most capable car I've ever had. Comfy, fast, wireless Apple Car play, Beats surround sound, sunroof, 4x4, good boot, coast to coast light bar, plenty of space for wife and 3 kids, 5 star NCAP safety rating...I could go on and on...WHAT A CAR!

NIce looking car Stef, certainly appears to go well. Excellent video as usual. This will make you smile…. My Toyota Aygo auto has paddle shift just like that and a seven inch screen!! As a 64 year old it’s my Cupra VZ2. 😊😂😂😂😂😂

Had mine 1 year and still learning the controls and hate the stop/start but no problems and driving it on back roads is excellent! I would buy another one.

Done 11000 miles in mine so far. Style over substance. A car for people impressed by looks and flashy lights. How well it goes is of no importance on British roads when we’re all doing 20mph in a motorway traffic jam.

I test drove this loved it but the infotainment system drove me crazy it was dark and raining so the window was misting up the infotainment was not back lit so I had to pull over to find the AC it sounds petty but this stopped me buying the car and I bought a mustang GT all physical buttons I'm showing my age lol but that aside it was a lovely car

I have the V2 hybrid as a company car. It’s quick. But I’m getting only 40mpg, the tank is very small so I have to fill up almost every day now. The boot is very very small. It’s full of gadgets. But there’s too many distractions inside for me. Looks good, but who cares when you’re inside? I would not spend 42 thousand pounds on it. There’s loads of road noise too. Style over substance.

Drove vz3 today looking to replace 335d touring after 6 years of love. The fake engine sound for me was even more annoying than that touch screen sh%t. If you can tell me I can turn this off I think I might buy as driving was epic The shortfalls and annoyances of touch screen can be bypassed, try saying “my bum is cold” after hitting voice control or “I’m too hot”

if u got newly produced with version 1309 it doesn't crash, or crashes are really rare. (unless when big temperature changes happen)
