Appreciate you doing this review all these years later! My names Ben and i was one of the guitar players/founding member. I actually named the band. Got it from a street sign from a local neighborhood near where i grew up. Currently talking to Boz the OG vocalist. Trying to put some new music out. Thank you to everyone that still jams Jerome. Out of all the bands ive been in Jerome is still my baby. 🤘

Omg man! I am so glad you covered this, this demo is a CLASSIC. I remember Eat The Gun being all over everybody's myspace pages back in the day. I genuinely think if Jerome had kept on making music after the demo, they could've blown up and become HUGE. It's funny you said the vocalist sounded like Adam from Oceano in one part because the drummer of Jerome actually became the drummer for Oceano for a while. Boz was a BEAST on the microphone, and I love how he was a massive jock looking dude.

my post-hardcore/metalcore band played a show with these dudes back in 2008. we were the opening act for the main event. we were the the second to play. the first band, which was local, stole a DW5000 double kick pedal (my pedal) between sets. we actually got it back, too by walking our crew [BRMD6KC] straight up to them. the dudes in Jerome even got in on helping us get that doublekick back. Awesome dudes. Thanks for another great deathcore vid! digging this new review format!

You’re actually so fucking sick for supporting them and other small bands, it’s really cool :,) I found them last year on a live video of their rendition of Whore to A Chainsaw and it was BRUTAL. The vocalist is amazing too, she has the perfect voice for the og thy art sound and it’s perfect 🤌🤌🤌 their music is fucking great as well AND they’re super nice people, nothing but support to them ❤️

I feel like a lot of bands just don't focus anymore on groove and how to make it flow in a natural way with interesting "stop and goes" and switches but somehow it all still flows. Like you said, the hardcore roots, especially the metallic and melodic aspects are overall gone. Even a lot of the beatdown / downtempo style bands feel like they're missing something when I listen. Also, CHICAGO REPRESENT!!!!! xXx 773 x 312 xXx

No script is cool! Not sure if you would know when to use a script or not. I'd assume, if you do more of these than, no script for these review videos. But I'd say, for your band deep dive tupe of videos. Maybe should be scripted. Could maybe be a blend of scripted and non scripted. So far what ever you've been doing works so. Whatever you think is best! Keep up the great work! Also. The pausing to explain/give your thoughts is best. Love it when you and finn give more insight.
