watching payday 2 from a new players perspective made me realise how much this game doesn't actually teach you, but it was funny to watch you two trying to figure it out. The enjoyability from loud heists comes from its difficulty and challenge and diving into them with no skills or perk deck like you did yeah its gonna be nigh impossible, but a half decent build can carry you through overkill and mayhem difficulties with ease, death wish and death sentence its almost required to have a meta build with at least 2 ai team mates with their perks and abilities too

So will say, even on dsod. You can complete solo no ai with things like 2 saws or suit yakuza. Loud is so fun and expansive that the community has figured out how to make the impossible work. Things like kiting, spawn trapping, Joker abuse, etc. While it is a lot more difficult and not recommended at all. Loud is far from impossible and this vid did not do justice to loud being either fun or diverse. The main fun of loud comes from just making anything work. Like Snipers are op with graze, lmgs don't need damage ups + has a lot of magazine capacity to keep putting pressure on spawns, assault rifles that do better than lmgs when built right and even shotguns can give you a challenge. And that's just weapons, not even mentioning things like Sicario having on demand cover and rewards dodge tracking, Sociopath can armour gate faster than Anarchist, Tag Team can outheal Hacker + a lot longer and even weaker perks like Yakuza or Gambler can at least give you a bit of challenge if you feel.

Ahhh the noob experience. Best time of the game. I miss it honestly. Everything feels new and fresh, struggling on loud on very hard, (which is honestly babymode once you level enough) feeling amazing completing any heist. I wanna go back in time

I know I'm 2 weeks late, but MY GOD, USE SKILLS! I don't see how you don't enjoy loud, it's the most fun you can have in this game. You should try a good dodge build on a highly rated loud only heist, it's hella fun.

A few suggestions as someone that has way too many hours in payday 2 :D One I'd recommend campaign mode for a first playthrough Second the reason why loud was so difficult is because you didn't spend/have any skill points, your ability to shred through enemies massively goes up later on Three the cast is crazy, as they have h3h3 to john wick

You know what I find odd about these games? They wear goofy The Dark Knight style clown masks, and then get surprised when anyone who sees them trips the alarm. What would be really cool in a game is to simulate what Scott Scurlock (the guy in How to Rob a Bank on Netflix) did, which is to just use prosthetics and makeup and such to make himself look completely different while everyone thought it was his real face. The character could take uniforms from guards as a disguise or something too.

Yeah, they added and changed so much to the game, and I suppose they forgot to teach or update people about it. Little something one takes for granted if one was there from the beginning. Since it was a lot more simple with people falling into roles rather than everyone being jack of all trades unless one goes into the heavy specialization stuff. Also I used to enjoy stealth a lot at the start, but now a days i just can't really tolerate it for too long anymore, especially on many of the loud & stealth heists that don't put much thought into stealth if any at all.

I’m not gonna lie to you, this is the worst payday related video I’ve ever watched. How bad you are at payday actually baffles me. “I quit because it was to hard, I quit because it was not my style”. The fact that you gave up pisses me off more than you playing loud on one of the lowest difficulty’s and still failing. Just like how there’s skills that you can use for stealth there’s also skills for loud, but it obviously shows you didn’t use them. Loud is one of the best parts about payday 2 and I hate how you just shat all over it.
