I think Platoon was Stone's masterpiece, but JFK, Nixon and Born on the 4th of July were also incredibly amazing films.

Thanks for asking. I need to edit and upload the 1993 Oscars video. Working on watching through the 1994 Oscars. These take 2-6 weeks to work through key movies I haven't seen. So hopefully I can do about one a month.

@@LearningaboutMovies thanks for your reply. I am new into 1900s movies in general. So, these videos help me learn more about movies from last century.

Love looking back at the 90’s with you. I think Oscar got it right this year. Silence of the Lambs is such a good film!

Great list! But now I feel bad because I have yet to watch JFK.

Raise the red lantern would be 1992 if going by U.S. release. But that would be my best picture, masterpiece.

I saw raise the red lantern in the theater back then

To me, the easiest best film of 1991 is JFK. Beauty and the Beast and T2 are close seconds. Silence of the Lambs and Boyz N The Hood are fine too, but those are my three.
