I've been playing hive bedrock for over 2 years, and it's cool to see someone play it for the first time. If you ever do a part 2, you should try out some of the pvp games, like skywars, treasure wars, capture the flag, etc.

You have to download Minecraft: Bedrock edition rather than Java edition. Then, there is a servers section where you can join the Hive. You can find some more informative videos on KZbin.

Unfortunately the Hive shut down on Java, so the only place you can play it on is the Bedrock edition of Minecraft. In other words, there is no ip needed. All you have to do is download Bedrock and go to the server section.

I mostly play it up as a joke. But in the early days of Bedrock I had a problem with Microsoft introducing microtransactions to the game. And I still kind of do.

They are two different games, I agree. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Both are fun. However, I, personally, believe Bedrock to have more disadvantages. That doesn’t mean it’s not fun to play, or that there’s something wrong with playing it, it just has certain things I don’t like. Everyone has their own opinion though.

@@CyRider It's a shame because although I'm almost always against microtransactions, microsoft could've at least maintained some level of quality control. I mainly play bedrock (I occasionally hop on Java) but I really never use the marketplace. Lots of stuff on there is just stolen content and ripoffs. There are literally countless Among Us ripoff skin packs available.
