Love the vid man, but i have some tips for next time: 1. That's not a factory, it's a dam (it should've said it on the map you used) 2. You can cook food like meat without a pot or can, just put it on the cooking slot 3. Always remember what you have with you, you could've used a emergency stim to save yourself after the bear attack 4. Always keep watch of your hunger and thirst before sleeping, or you might die while sleeping But you did great and achieved a lot, hope your next attempt at this game will go better (if you ever do play it again)

This is mostly aimed towards people new to the game or anyone interested in having longer challenge runs or playing stalker & interloper… Alright with the torches and flares… don’t throw them! Especially when you are down to the very last one! It’s your lifeline… the only thing keeping you from the jaws of inescapable death!(literally) I have a strategy to recommend: I drop torches & flares at my feet instead of chucking it over 10 feet away at the local wildlife… in this game wolves will never fully approach an open flame. I take advantage of this by either lighting & dropping my torch on the ground as the wolf approaches me or starting a fire and crafting more torches for later 😉 once the wolf is at the perimeter of your fire they will growl and remain at the edge of the warmth radius from your campfire(same distance with torch & flare)… if you provoke them by aiming a rock or other weapon in their direction it will aggravate the wolf causing him to run away from you and the fire… up against just a single wolf this tactic feels wrong 😑 but against a pack of timberwolves this is a lifesaver and doesn’t smell like stanky cheese 🧀 Explanation: wolves & timberwolves will run off with their tail between their legs if they run into a fire source… campfires, torches, and flares all work great… with that in mind stay next to your flame 🔥 if you throw your torch or flare it doesn’t always scare them & it’s used better as a deterrent than a weapon… also Location, wolf moral, and difficulty level determines wether or not they will leave you alone for good or shortly come back… playing the challenges I find a wolf around every corner and they hardly ever back down… but once you break the moral in an area it usually stays broken for a while.

Cool vid. -You can train wolves for entire maps worth of distance, so long as you don't get a 2nd wolf on you, just keep line of sight. -Finding a climbing rope doesn't get you to that firewatch tower, you can't put the rope in place from the bottom, and you can just walk all the way around. -The very back of caves is often warm. -You can cook meat on any fire, without a pot. -Beware of eating wolf and bear meat on harder difficulties. Great and funny video! The challenge is really something else, but unless you are really unlucky, it is doable by staying in Coastal Highway the entire time. The bear thing was tragic, I suppose you died because you didn't treat the blood loss.

I'm fairly sure he treated the blood loss before going to bed, he would've died due to dehydration in his sleep (PSA: *Always* make sure you have had enough water and food to sleep through the night)

First light a flare Wait till wolf get close. stops and starts barking at you (You aslo can just ignor him, unless you weak wolf not gonna atack you) Then throw it near him to scare him it didn't work before cause you didn't let wolf to get near you and start its roars

Abt prepper caches: devs removed their random spawn and added 9 static bunkers instead, there are guides in steam on where all 9 are situated Btw only 3 of 9 are filled up wit stuff so you got lucky with that one

Trowing a flare in the head wolf is greeding. If you miss, you maybe attack by him. If you keep the flare lightning in your hand, he can't attack you.

I love this game. Think it was your channel that made me aware of it years ago. Since then I’ve survived over 700 days and put hundreds of hours into it…. Still not good enough for Interloper though 😂

Yeah , no , the old maps don t match to the game anymore , the prepper cache should be somewere above the mystery park office

You Can find olds maps on the TLD wiki fandom. On the olds maps you Can see the potential location of the prepper cache/bunkers, but it's not the same place anymore. Bunkers locations are now Always at the same place (MILTON, FM, ML, PV, TM, AC, HRV). In lower difficulty (not looper and misery) 3 of them (randomly) are full of delicious loot. 😅
