I love it. Yes its a bit complex but I use what I need. At least if I ever want to try anything new, I always have the option to experiment.

Bought it, absolutely loved the sounds. But, after awhile, sold it because it’s a bit too complicated for me.

I've had the LVX since launch. Started with relatively simple sounds, and was able to get old stuff off the board because of it. I've been making some crazy presets on the LVX lately as we're writing new music. (Actually use Ring Mod as a funky tremolo on one of the song outros) Their stuff is really fantastic. Using MIDI has been huge for me, but love that the LVX can do so much automation without MIDI. Using the looper effectively has taken quite a bit of time to figure out. But I love it. If you're into making weird sounds or want a pedal that will do a ton of high quality effects work. I'd recommend it if you have the dough the spare. Also, I love that you come back to gear you've reviewed and still enjoy.

Got one last month; IMO it's truly a '20s version of those much beloved Boss and Line 6 flagships DD-20 and DL4.

Great overview of the Meris LVX. It's extremely versatile.... and...I'm actually looking for a ring modulator, so the LVX might have that covered! 🙂Thanks John.

Awesome video! I love the LVX. I often feel I’m not using it up to its potential but you’ve inspired me to try some new things with it. Hope it works out for you! Would love to see more LVX content in future.

Hey Jonathan, I’m on similar journey of moving off my AxeFX3. I’ve only been using it for the FX for last few years and then just recently engaged pedals around it and now so much that there isn’t much of anything I’m using the AXEFX for because I find myself much strongly preferring individual pedals. Now strongly considering getting a G3 as well. I just ordered the Boss DM101. I really like this interface but prefer analog tone which is why I went that route.

Absolutely love my meris lvx even for someone like me that didn’t understand a unit like it I dove in and have had incredible results so glad I spent the money on it. How are you recording this?

I’ve had the LVX since it’s launch and it’s completely outstanding. Very deep and can’t believe how more musicians aren’t using it. Maybe it’s just a bit under hyped or something but it’s definitely as good as the other hi tech pedals such as H90 or microcosm
@70mcnevin

Oooh, that's a heavy statement. I have both the LVX and H90 and I've had a blast with the LVX. But the H90 is quite the beast in its own right. I could probably get by with those two, the GT1000core, a KoT and the Drybell Unit 67 as an all in one stereo pedalboard solution and have 99 percent of based covered DI, or into dual amps and cabs.

@@70mcnevin I have the H 90 too and yes it’s probably the one pedal that would be the one if it was the only one. I’ve always been an Eventide devotee though. Just surprised the LVX doesn’t get more admiration however we’re flooded with superb pedals these days. Just had a black microcosm delivered yesterday too. Spoilt for choice !

The LVX is like one of those old looking pieces of tech you see in Star Wars. It’ll be around a while and it’s well worth the price.

Two comments. 1. Most people don’t need one. And 2. Possibly the greatest pedal of all time. I have two… what? Why are you looking at me like that? Finicky to use to its full potential. Really could benefit from a screen editor - you have to really want to get stuff out of it to do the screen dancing. Hands down though, it does the best shimmer reverb I’ve ever heard, though it does take some programming - it won’t do it straight out of the box. I hope they develop this concept, one with a reverb attached, one with a synth, one with extended multi effects. Extend the modulation matrix. I’ve been stopping strangers in the street for years and saying - line6 are all well and good, but what they need is a modulation matrix.

$600 for essentially a multi effects unit isn’t that bad. Could replace quite a few pedals (not that anyone would get rid of pedals right?😂)

Right, it could easily knock off a couple of modulation/delay/tuner type pedals?

@@johnnathancordy I see this as a great option for someone with an Iridium or one of the UA Amp Pedals. Or like you did, use an HX Stomp for Amp, Impulse, drive and Reverb. Two pedals, one board doesn’t seem too shabby 😎 Or be lazy like me and just get a Helix Floor 🤣

Great pedal....however Meris, like so many companies that make pedals, are priced out of the majority of players price point...unless you're one of the fortunate UTubers demo'ing their products and are able to obtain one for free..... Also love Meris's Mercury X Reverb
