Hi! thanks for the video. Can I ask you if you can make a video where you create a family of a collar adaptable to the diameter of the pipe, which creates the opening in the wall where the pipe passes? Thank you!

Glad you like it! Yes there are a few work arounds, if I understand correct you need a wall peteration linked with pipe, so when you move the pipe, the penetration moves also and change the size of the pipe, penetration also changes, correct?

@@Marco-l9v4x Hi, yes, this is an interesting topic to share, you can find it in our new video kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnbEaZ2Oma10fs0😀this is one of the way, and it is not possible to make it 100% automated. As wall based family are not attaching to the pipes that do make sense.

Thanks for the interesting video. This clamp divides the pipe into segments. Maybe you know how to make a clamp without dividing the pipe, and with the transfer of the system name to the clamp?

Unfortunately, this is only the way. Otherwise, it will not be connected to the system, and they will not move together. Why is it an issue, if I may ask?

@@PipeEXltd2023 The pipes/ducts are of standard length from the factory. The arrangement of the clamps does not match this length. The specification must show the length of the standard sections and their number.

@@PipeEXltd2023 Maybe, if we change "Part Type" from "break into" to "attaches to" we will solve this problem?

Clear, unfortunately, from what I know, this is only the way, how to make it and keep the family dynamic. As an option, you can have it per type, remove connectors, and install every instance manually. That might take some time. You need to keep track of each segment, but it will meet your needs.

I don't think so because the issue comes from the connectors. If you change it that way, it will work as a cap. But you can try to understand the difference.
