A grand for the steering wheel and module that doesn't guarantee it will work and a headunit that looks nice but doesn't work. Don't get these guys to change your brakes! The joys of owning a Porsche!

It appears that they actually don't know what they are doing. I am carrying out the exact same modification. the module he speaks about is £750 from Porsche, and depending on the type of radio he needs another module to get that to work as well.

Wow that’s looked pain staking When I had my apple car play stereo fitted had the same issues Remember my stereo guy saying it would cost a few hundred extra for the optical fibre cables to work with the Bose system but he managed to get it working with sound so I left like that. Sound quality is fine but then I’m half deaf now at my age

if you're going to change out the wheel, why not just go with a 991.2 wheel?

I have similar vw soundsystem where speakers won't work with aftermarket head unit. Nothing worked. Nothing. No adapter, decoder or how it's called. :(

how did you get the horn to work....i had the same problem in mine.

Had to reposition the magnet and make sure the airbag was fitted correctly
