@@boy-ish4703 Next episode has a specific line of dialogue that confirms L understood everything and every piece of the puzzle fit except just for that one death note rule, which means that even though he didn't see Light write, he didn't ignore how things went south right then and there and eventually deduced what had happened.

Light immediately said after he got it that he was going to cross reference the names of the victims to the notebook and L gave him the OK on that. I think L catching Light here would have been out of character for L because he would have to randomly pop in and say "wotcha doin?" when Light just told him what he was doing. What would have been a better plan for Light though would be to ask Rem to kill Huguchi(whoever the new owner is) right when he is nearing getting caught so then the notebook will have no owner and then Rem can take it and make it vanish from the human world again. This way, the task force will never get hold of the notebook so they still won't know how kira kills, and Rem can sneak it back to Misa to kill L, or kill L herself. I feel like Light really missed out on leveraging that shinigamis are invisible and can go through walls..... and could have used Rem to help out much more

To be fair, L would have suspected Light for killing Higuchi. However, Light killed him using a scrap of the notebook hidden in his watch. L would have checked the Death Note, but Higuchi's name wouldn't be written in it and L has no idea about how the Death Note effects the user's memories.

Suzy, this episode is where you get to answer a question from your previous video. Why did Light give ownership of his notebook to Rem and not Ryuk? Because he wanted Ryuk to be paired with Misa, because he would be willing to make the eye deal with her again.

there could be many reason for higuchi to die: 1-as you say the prime suspect just touch the deathnote, but he didn't write in it 2-this could mean 2nd Kira is aware that higuchi got caught so he kill him 3-it could be possible to write conditional death(it's not, but still a possibility) so second could have write something like: iguchi dies after being arrested, no time specified 4-the shinigami could have kill him because he didn't want to accompany him in jail, that's what ryuk would have done 5- the situation was surelly a lot of stress for Higuchi, he could have had a natural hearth attack

I don't get why L would suspect Light for writing Higuchi's name. The only thing for a reasonable person (which I figure L is) to do at that point is look at the notebook you just got for Higuchi's name, and since it won't be there, the only thing to assume is that someone with a different notebook killed him. You go on to say it's so obvious... but exactly HOW is it obvious to L in ANY way? There's just no way for L to know.

The reason why it's not obvious is because even if L suspected that light killed the guy, there wouldn't be any evidence on the notebook itself. First of all, Light didn't have a pen. Secondly he didn't write the name on the actual notebook but on a piece of paper hidden in his watch. So with everything L knows so far, which is only that the names should be written in the notebook, he wouldn't be able to find that evidence in the notebook because Light didn't write in it. Another observation that L made is that there could possibly be more notebooks out there so there is a possibility that another Kira killed the guy(this one is more far fetched but you get the idea). Basically, it isn't as obvious as it appears to you because you are part of the audience and so you have gap fillers that L otherwise wouldn't have even if he is the best detective.

Well, from we viewers perspective, it is obvious that Light is Kira. We know that. So ofc, for us, the little things or hints that Light left is gonna be obvious for us. But L is not one of us. L isn't sure that Light is Kira. So, the small hints that Light leaves, well, L really can't pick them up.

Light switched the books, because he needed to back Rem further into a corner than she already was (thank Misa in EP 14 for that), and that she would lie to L with the fake rules being true, that and the fact that Ryuk doesn't care enough about Misa like Rem does, so he doesn't care and wouldn't talk her out of making the eye deal again and killing herself while Rem would've either talked her out of it or refused to do it

Higuchi's name was NOT in the Death Note and L does not know that cut out pages works. If anything, the fact that Light was holding the notebook when Higuchi died is evidence that he didn't kill him.

I don't know if it's exactly what they were going for or not, but I personally interpreted Light's scream when he gets his memory back as his "old self", that is to say him as he had been for the last few episodes since he lost his memory of the Death Note, realising in that brief moment that he really had been Kira, he had killed all those people. And all he could do in those final moments was scream before returning to the way he was before losing his memories. Before once again becoming Kira.

Light gave L hints about shinigamis say something like "gods of death love apples" so when the second Kira said something showing each their shinigamis it tipped off L that they do exist. For a guy who is highly intelligent it was more of a shocking feeling then a fearfulness thing. That's how I seen it anyway. I could be totally wrong.

I believe L came to terms with the possible of the existence of the shinigami's back when he freak out. A lot of time have past since that incident meaning he have to think that shinigami's existence can be a possibility - hence the lack of a surprised reaction at this point in the story. Also he is clearly manipulating Misa, that is so obvious. He's a stone cold killer at this point.

I've read somewhere that because Misa was saved by a Shinigami, her life span got increased to 300 ( don't take my word for it, I'm not sure). If that's a given, and she made the eye deal twice, her life span would go from 300 to 150 to 75. Not bad...

if misa would be to live to 80, and is 20 at this time, then her remaining lifespan (80-20=60) would be cut in half (to 30), and then cut in half again, endung up at 15. so we can assume she'd live roughly 15 more years. given light would still have about 60 years left if he'd live to 80 and is now 20, spending a quarter of that with misa might not seem like a terrible deal to him, in exchange for her loyalty and eyes.

He moved the notebook to Rem so the one that she gives to the other guy who just got caught with it will have all the names that he's written so it will seem as if he was the original Kira, and also so that when he gets the notebook back, it's his notebook and Rem is attached to it, meaning Ryuk is attached to Misa's book. I think it's funny because if L asks Rem if fake rules can be written she could say, "Yes, but I have not written any fake rules in my notebook". Because Ryuk wrote them and it is now Rem's book, technically she wouldn't be lying to say that. Not like she couldn't lie as she knew that another book is in the human world and that the rules were fake in the first place. Edit: Also it is obvious that it is Light, but all the evidence is clearing him, L still suspects him but everyone else thinks he innocent. So for now he is pretending to not think it is him, when he is still at the top of L's suspect list. Also dude who died in the beginning's name wasn't written in the book, it was written in a piece in Light's watch, so even if they were suspicious of Light, the name would not be written in the death note.

There are multiple elements that make the scene believable : Light didn't write it in the note book, L knows there's another notebook so it could have been anybody, even if L knows deep down inside him that Light is Kira he has nothing to prove it to the others (Kira's name isn't wrote in the notebook since he wrote it in the watch)

Yea, she cute her life again, but remember, its said when Shinigami die for human to save him, Shinigamis remains life is add to this human, sooo... so far it happends once and some life time was added to Misas and we dont know how much.
