Very well done,-nice restoration ! I was lucky enough to be given an Emco-Star in nice condition a few years ago, - just needed a few bearings replaced. Had some new sanding belts and bandsaw blades made, and it has been a fantastic machine for modelling work. The guys who designed these were clever buggers. I'd love some of the back end attachments, but they are like hens teeth now.

Awesome job, it was nice to see what I need to do to rebuild my machine. The one thing that I see you don't have is the planing machine. Awesome colour you have chosen.

I have separate Woodfast lathe, bandsaw, and thicknesser machines. Very big/bulky. I would still prefer one of these for small tasks. Everything is located in one place - very convenient and user-friendly. When I was a teen my dad bought me a SkillSher setup comprising of two solid steel bars with two caste ends. It could be converted to a lathe, circular saw, drill press, etc using a large half-horsepower drill as the power unit and was a bit dangerous. Definitely not a toy and not anywhere as good as this machine. Someone put a lot of thought into the design.

Nice one. Looks great. Check those circ saw arbour shims again though. That blade isn't centred on the spindle.

Good eye Thanks I think the blade is not the correct size I do have a table saw so I don't think I'll use it that much
