This was just painful to watch. The starter solenoid supplies power to the coil while cranking, no power in the run position. Old school hot wire, just run a wire from the positive of the battery to the positive of the coil. The ballast resister is used in the run position to cut the voltage so you don't burn the points. The power from the starter solenoid is full 12v for a hotter spark when starting. Better check the resistance across the primary side of the coil, some coils have the resister built in.

Hey guys take the hose going in to the fuel pump put in your gas can and now disconnect the hose fro. The carburetor turn engine over if no gas comes out then the fuel pump is bad

Always pay close attention when it runs with the starter engaged but dies when you let off.

Take ur cigarette while it is smoking ,put it in a cup of gas and it won't explode, spark and vaporizer gas is the problem combo
