Doesn't polishing reduce material from the watch? How then can you restore a rounded corner? Do you laserweld? I did not see such a procedure.

Hello! As with any material being sanded/lapped some material will be removed but if done correctly not much. It wouldn’t devalue it either way unless done wrong, however in the vintage watch world polishing is a big nono since people like the watch to look like it was from that time. We also have a laser machine for adding materials but that is only used when chunks of the watch have been taken off by damage and such. But! With all that being said I think that’s a great video idea to make!

How can an overpolished watch be fixed by polishing? Wouldn't you need to add the lost material before polishing?

In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on amzwatch
