Somewhat I guess. I have the Elusive color balm and it's like the same color as my lips. My face is very pale though so I think the colors look great on me. I also find that those two colors are very pigmented, maybe more opaque than the lighter shades. Cherries in the Snow actually looks more magenta or fuschia, but I love it. I also like that's it's been around since the 1950's. Someone at work today told me it looked very classic, and they're right!

Love that you did a video about Moon Drops lipsticks by Revlon! Million Dollar Red was the lipstick that started it all for me. It was my grandmas lipstick and the first one I ever put on when I was younger 💄❤️. It was such a beautiful red :)

I just bought 2 of the super lustrous yesterday, simply because i don't have them in creme and wanted to try and just because i'm a lipstick junky. but seriously, Pink in the Afternoon on you is totally different. It is like Primrose on my lips. i have one matte In the Red and i can make it work good if i put some balm first.

i have a few of these. cherries in the snow was the first one and it's really good. i also picked up: fire and ice, sassy mauve and wine in the afternoon.they are all creme and very pigmented. i agree that they are hit and miss. i am avoiding the pearl and the pinks for this line.

What a GREAT video! I loved how the lip swatches changed as you were talking. Very original and really helpful! It would be great if someone did a video collab with a few other beauty you tubers who all have different lip color pigmentations and then lip swatched all the same colors (like MAC for example) and showed how they look different on people with different lip pigments. If the collaborators could be in the same video (upload footage to each other and one person edit the color clips to have a split screen of low pigment / medium pigment / dark pigment or whatever... it would be AMAZING)! Just an idea!

We have so much in common, we are both lipsticks collectors lol, i HATE sheer and frost lipsticks. We both have the same skin tone and frost does not flatter our skin tone at all. Im more into the mattes and satin full on pigmented lipsticks. Great video as always xoxo

Oh you should have tried Revlon's matte lipstick in 'Really Red' its a gorgeous matte red! Black Cherry's the only colour I like in this range. Great video as usual.

If you haven't tried it, I recommend Temptress in the creme finish (I've heard it's also available in another finish but I can't remember which one) With one swipe it's fairly sheer, but you look like your lip shade and skintone are very similar to mine, and that one swipe gives me just a nice pink-toned my-lips-but-better tone. But building it up a bit is just a beautiful medium toned neutral pink that would pair with anything! Check it out!

These colors are beautiful. I have bought the drugstore Revlon lipsticks and like so many they always are perfumey and taste awful to the point I usually look for new formulas, bought some high end Revlon Ultima II which they don't make anymore, I don't think. Merle Norman doesn't taste bad. I was wondering if Revlon lipsticks in the drugstore has changed before I buy any again. Can someone tell me if they still smell of perfume and taste bad? No one on any videos really ever talk about this. Am I the only one that finds some them disgusting and can't wear because of a bad taste? Thanks.

I've always been hesitant to buy Revlon lipsticks because I can't find a colour that I really love but the moisture stains have a couple colours that I think look great but there are so many mixed/bad reviews about them so I'm completely torn! skylilly1 They're two different "Love that pink" the first one is in the super lustrous line and the other is in the Moon Drops line lol I knew I would get that comment a lot but they're not the same color! :) I swatched the Kate Moss one in the red packaging and I'm planning on doing a swatch video on the black ones too and I LOVE them and highly recommend them :)

Pauline Monroy It's not my favorite finish so it depends on your preferences! If you prefer cream finishes then it's the right one for you (Or a NYX Matte lipstick)! If you prefer matte finishes I would go with something like Wet n Wild Cherrybomb! If :)
