Just a note, I bought Melodyne Essentials for like $15 and it's free often. Then the upgrade to assistant is only $50 when it's on sale a few times a year and that will cover most people's work. Going up to Editor allows for polyphonic editing if you really need that and that's only $149 on sale from Essentials. I just upgraded to Studio from Assistant for $199, so all in, I'm under $300 for the full Studio version which I only got to do multi-track vocal editing stuff. I'd really be fine with Assistant for $50.

Oh wow! This really shows up the Melodyne artifacts. 😮 Thank you for the great video. I’m on Revoice Pro. And yup falsettos seem to be hard for things to track too. Had an Auto-Tune thing with that. Thanks again. 👏🏻

Ease of use and pitch correction is why most prefer Melodyne. Price is secondary for professionals.

Agreed. Melodyne is so much easier and quicker to use for me personally.

Uh, you missed something. RV Pro 5 has a grid. To enable it you go down to the bottom and instead of TIME you select BARS and BEATs. Next you need to go into SETTINGS. There you have to zero out the right hand side of a a numeric entry line. Sorry that I am vague here, but I don't have it in front of me. I will try and edit this when back in front of ReVoice Pro. Now, I do feel what I just said should be the default that comes up when a session is started. I have requested this from Synchoarts support department and hope to see it. I think it ended up the default in ReVoice Pro 4. To have to set it when needed is a work flow disruptor.

In melodyne and waves tune I get these weird random jumps where a note blob will go way up to another octave and it's unfixable. is revoice any better?
@iamenik9 ай бұрын
You can fix this in melodyne by clicking on the little wrench icon in the toolbar. This will take you into note assignment mode where you’ll see outlined empty wave forms where you can double click and it will snap the wave blob into the correct octave. Revoice has a similar feature but I think melodyne has an easier time fixing this problem.

Was gonna get this, then it crashed on my first use in trial mode.
