I’m going to copy and paste a comment I made on another Revols video: I actually had the chance to listen to these and get my ears molded (Logitech bought Revols for the sake of the Ultimate Ears Pro brand) and I can confidently say that if you feel these lack bass you did not get a good mold. When I got my ears fitted I had to get it done multiple times because getting a seal was difficult, they really should have included a bottle of lubricant to make the first insertion easier. I highly doubt the average person will get a good mold the first try and each failed try will increase the cost of the product. I was impressed by the experience but it definitely felt like the first generation of a brand new product. I’m honestly not sure how much they could improve the process for the average person as even I needed Ultimate Ears staff to help me get my molds done. They at least asked me and the 50 or so others who were also getting custom in ear pieces made from Revols tip molds for feedback. I think if they have Ultimate Ears take over the Revols brand completely it could evolve into a compelling product. (For those who don’t know Ultimate Ears isn’t just a brand of wireless bluetooth speakers, they’re also a company that specializes in making custom molded in ear monitors that are used by stage musicians) The product I had custom made with the molded tips from these was the Ultimate Ears Pro Reference Remastered and I’ll gladly try to answer any questions you might have.

Guess I had the perfect ear shape, haha. I already read to push in a bit more than the "gentle" pressure the app recommends, though only pressed a little harder than "gentle" as I didn't figure it would be good to try and jam them into my ears like a jack hammer. I gotta say prior to "molding" they were really soft...where you could feel the liquid gel in them...and after molding...I could see where it flattened to my ears and the liquid jelly feel was gone. and yeah, the sound is perfect to me....I can only guess the folks complaining didn't get a good mold or it is an iPhone app problem at this point.

Jerry Milton I had my molds made with an ipad so it's not an iOS issue, the complaints about a lack of bass could also come from what frame of reference people have, a lot of audio products targeting the average consumer have a significant bass boost. I'm more on the audiophile side of the consumer spectrum so that can be a part of why I was satisfied with the bass too, at least judging by the music that played during the molding process haha. They really should have also included all three tip sizes as well instead of just two

I was one of the original backers of this project. Never received my rewards and they blocked all my emails. Money out the window and the most crooked company I've ever done business with.

LOGITECH bought the company, so just write them...I have had several emails answered promptly in regards to procuring smaller ear tips.
