Now that you finally did another revoltech review, your opening on how great this guy is brings me to a realization after getting most of the Toho and Gamera revoltechs, that it felt overall like a "better" line compared to Monsterarts. At least, I prefer them as of now for the following reasons- 1. The engineering, using solid pieces connected by joints, make them feel more consistently solid. The only exception is Mogera. 2. Accessories included in these sets, while not equality spectacular, made the products feel like displays to represent the movie and not just expensive figures. 3. Each of them having the MSRP of around $30-$50, nowadays we pay MSRP's of +$70 and pray to get accessories. Granted Inflation explains some of that, but a decent portion in covered by Laziness. It doesn't help in that after market, but just wanted to provide context. They simply feel like very satisfying products by comparison, and I hardly sensed anyone from old comments of reviews express as much dissatisfaction and anxiousness as well currently do with monster-arts.

But the mind boogling thing is that the Ultraman Kaiju they are currently releasing are FAR more appropriately priced and have at least decent quality and advance engineering you would expect this far in the line. I have, for instance, the Figuarts and Ultra Act Gomorahs than they represent a proper sequence of improvement. Why doesn't translate to Monsterarts is sadly beyond me.

Can’t believe the prices have shot up so much for the revoltech figures. I was lucky to get Anguirus for around $40 in 2011 along with the ‘56 Rodan.

I don't have the figure, but he looks pretty good alongside the two S.H. MonsterArts Showa Godzillas. If you're really strict about scaling, Anguirus should actually be bigger than Godzilla if he is stood fully up (no hunch, neck fully extended), as his official Showa height was 60 meters. But, who cares, Revoltech never made a Godzilla anyway. I base their sizes off of hip height, thigh length, and shoulder height. Going off of that, it seems as if even the S.H. FiguArts Ultraman doesn't scale well with most of the S.H. MonsterArts Godzillas, especially Godzilla 1964. Of course, I don't have the figures, so I can't say for sure.

Revoltech should have also made: Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Varan, Gezora, Hedorah, Minilla, Kong, Gabara, Ebirah, Kamacuras, Jet Jaguar, megalon, titanosaurus, Gorosaurus, Manda, Kumonga, Mothra larvae, ETC.

Hey Steven have you played godzilla ps4 game? Because I think the characters models are base on the toy versions like for example angirus based is on the revoltech figure, mothra is based on the sh monster arts figure, and of course the godzilla models are based on sh monster arts.
