Personally I think the scale between him and spider man is spot on. Remember there's a human inside venom. Venom is like a muscle suit so he wouldn't be made taller like the hulk buster makes iron man taller. Again just my opinion, others can disagree with me and that's fine

Reluctantly, this Revoltech Venom is my favorite. I WANTED to love this figure and was ready to buy it, but MAN I hate those stupid Revoltech joints. They just look SO bad. But everything else about this figure is pretty amazing. *sigh* Guess I'll skip it and wait for an even better one. The fact that we don't really have a properly good 1:12 scale classic Venom is weird and annoying.

I actually just got mine in the mail today. As awesome as it looks, i'm thinking of just putting it up on eBay. I mean I've got my Marvel Select repping Venom on my shelf and I have my 2016 Legends one stored away for picture ideas. But I sorta want to have more money some the Future Mezco stuff and since there is a crap load of stuff coming between now and September.... I like my Revo Deadpool and think Spider-Man is cool, but I'm not crazy about the way they made the proportions of Spidey. Maybe it's me getting annoyed at the joints popping off every time I try to pose him and and end up spending more time than I wanted to and and the torso being so easy to pop on and off- with this being heavy that scares me. But this figure will definitely cause create awesome photography though.

I just got mine and I came to this review to make sure I'm not hallucinating and it's way different than what I got. The lower back ball joints was red for some reason. The eyes were deformed and wouldnt stay on the teeth part. There was also alot of unpainted areas. The material also felt brittle and wasn't cut very cleanly.

I'm returning mine. The ball socket in the lower back was red for some reason and the eyes wouldnt fit over the mouth at all.(one of them was completely molded shut). The ball joints in the claw arms were not painted at alk. Also the tongue wouldnt stay in at all. Not sure what happened.

thanks for reviewing. i've been wavering about whether or not to pull the trigger on this. a lot of people seemed to hate the easiness of that joint separation, and the overall top heaviness of the figure but i was never sure how big of issues these really were. perhaps these other reviewers just weren't used to this sort of import. personally i imagine this is a necessary evil of a figure like this so that it doesn't actually brake irrevocably as often.
