I woulda prefered it being black but i really do like how the color looks. Its an excellent venom figure. Definitely prefer it over the legends.

The figure is 7.5" tall when fully compacted, and the list height for movie Venom is 7' 6" -- so as usual Figuarts is exact with their 1:12 scaling unlike every other company. Surprisingly the Legends figure is slightly small as compared to the scale from the film. Usually Legends is about half an inch too tall, but Hasbro made Venom half an inch shorter. It's easy not to notice that given that the movie Venom is taller than many previous comic versions.

Pretty sure this SHF venom is more accurate in height than the ML version. Venom’s supposed to really tower over humans. ML got their scale wrong

I started collecting shfiguarts in 2014 so I have some loyalty to the line, although it has gotten a bit pricey I still like this figure. I think they could have did some black and blue style coloring maybe on the figure but I don’t mind the blue because in certain light it looks darker

I respect your opinion, but the size is perfect on this figure, its perfect even for shf, and it's alot better than the legends one in everything, like ALOT better. It's not a loss, really, i don't know if you're kind of biased with legends, but the legends venom is alot leaner and doesn't has the articulation that this one has (the prime example is not having butterfly joints) which is a shame. considering the price is a bit too high, this figure makes up for it, as it has everything. great sculpt, great proportions (far better than hasbro's version) absolutely amazing articulation, a good amount of accessories, and goes along with marvel legends perfectly. I agree the legends has better coloring though.

I prefer SHF all the way, looks 200% better and more accurate to the screen either it's pure black or dark blue, it doesn't matter, cause both colors will end up black either way in any dim/dark lighting, so the problems stated in this video is kinda irrelevant.

I think this figure does look really cool, but I’m perfectly happy with my legends version of the character. I’m not apposed to getting different figures of the same character, but this is one of the times I can make an exception. Great video, as always.

The marvel legends one I for some reason could not get good pictures of and the shfiguarts came out beautiful and he looks black in pictures and marvel legends one has terrible head movement which is a really key component for a venom toy

SHF easily, villains should tower over heroes imo, plus that no way to know how tall this venom is to Spidey we may never know, Tobey Maguire spider man might be better height, I don't get a shit about the color it's better articulate then Hasbro which is always my deciding factor when it comes to MCU figures specifically and the accessories

Dude, youre completely biased when youre complaining about the height. The SHF is like a few centimeters taller than the Marvel Legends. Remember in the movies Tom Holland/spiderman is a teen and when Brock turns into Venom he grows in height. So spiderman/teen is small, Brock/adult is taller, when in Venom form Brock is much taller. The color I agree, it should of been darker or a straight black color. But the height and everything else is ok.

I think this figure was meant to have a gloss finish with that blueish black I customized mine adding details to the vein and making it gloss overall, after adding the gloss coat the figure started looking more black than blue on most angles

Looks solid to me but I stick with Marvel Legends as they’re more affordable for me. But Hasbro really need to make more SonyVerse figures like Let there Carnage, Shriek, Riot, She Venom and Tom Hardy Eddie Brock. Morbius and Milo and some more Amazing Spider Man movie figures (Gwen Stacy, Vigilante Spidey, Green Goblin and Rhino)

The figure looks black throughout most of your video--even as you're calling it blue. Depends on the lighting. I don't see what the big deal with that is given that they went with a slightly blue hue in the film and given that the comic version is even bluer. It's a bit more blue than the film, but in most lights not THAT much bluer.

Height wise. While he's a little taller than ML Venom. That height I feel is negligible. Movie venom is pretty tall. If Tom Holland is the same height as Naomie Harris, then that SHF Spidey is pretty much at the height of she was in comparison to Movie Carnage. Basically Movie Venom is knocking on Hulk territory. Overall I'm not seeing a product that I'd tell people, "Hey buy this instead of that MVL Venom". Now that Carnage could be a different story as Hasbro never name movie Carnage and I'd assume a SHF Movie Carnage would scale well with MVL movie Venom.
