You don't see many video's of this ride. Looks like a fun coaster. Thanks for the video. 😊

+Timmie S. I hadn't spotted that - I see it is now re-themed as Mount Mara with VR headsets - in many ways that is a shame as I loved the ride as it was.

Nice video, It's realy a shame what they are doin' with this classic ride. revolution evolution then (R)evolution, like do we need the "R" or don't we .... well let's call it Mount Mara then and put VR glasses on the riders so we can fuck-up the complete theme of this ride because no on will see it. and YES! now it's Revolution again and completely f****d. sound is bad and most lights don't work anymore. a real Shame. in the early days 1989 till 1996-97 i guess, there was a 2nd screen below as the pendule of the clock falls down, the glass on the top screen shattered it would drop on the screen below and the illusion was that everything got sucked into a vortex into deep space were time runs out and chaos rules, they removed the lower screen because people dropped lots of junk on it and they didn't want to clean it anymore and soda drinks would run from this screen into the lower projector so it was broken a lot those days, now you could wonder if they just don't allow anyone to take their drinks and food with them during the ride or you don't pay attention at all and just remove everyting on the ride hmmmm... if you want to see the movie with both screens search for a onride movie before 1995.

I've always thought this was a really interesting ride. I like the length of the trains and can imagine the differences between front and back seat rides. I also really dig the projection on the ceiling as well as the effects on the ground.

+Nate of Leisure Well, originally there was another projection screen on the floor, so the pendulum on the top screen (at 2:42) could be seen shattering the clock on the bottom screen. That was a lot more interesting. It's sad to see how much this ride has deteriorated over the years. Now it's just a shell of its former self...

Such a shame that most of the projections had already been switched off... but hey, at least the shattering glass on the 2nd side screen is still there. Nice to see the upper film as well... I guess the bottom screen had just been removed, so they hadn't swapped the films yet. No cheesy light tunnels to be seen, although I never really liked those blue light strips along the catwalk... I'd really like to see a full onride video with the two screens and the other side projections intact (such as the one with the fire). Anyway, thank you for sharing this video!

Any idea what produces the metro-like sounds on the drive tires? Is it some electrical component or just a cool sound effect?
@davidjellis8 ай бұрын
Not sure - I assume it's part of the electrical components

It's the longest coaster train in the world ;) 56 meters long and it counts 30 cars

This is probably the first video I have ever seen where you could see the green alien alike guy at the end of the ride! If I'm not wrong then you can see him on 1:57! It's not really clear but if you look closely, you can see a humanoid alike figure on the down left corner! Sadly I've went on this coaster for the first time in 2011, then it already wasn't so awesome as it was previously :(

Revolution once had a sister ride called Chaos that was at the now defunct Opryland USA, It had an even longer train of 40 cars than Revolution's 30 car train.

Does anyone know if there's onride footage of Chaos somewhere?
@revxlutxon1050 Жыл бұрын
@@revolutionjo hey, there is a lil footage from the onride on the internet but it's the rarest one. But there is sadly not a full onride from it I'm very sorry.. ( here is the link from the footage of chaos! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWaWZIaKm5qbpNE )

Anyone know when the LED tunnel was installed on this ride?
@revolutionjo8 жыл бұрын
The light tunnels were added in the early 2000s, I think.
