I do a lot of kite flying, both two line stunt kites and 4 line kitesurfing kites… this thing is absolutely bananas, I need to pick up one of these

Yes @Gauthierbrad27, The Revolution Blast is amazing! The precision control and incredible wind range are beyond anything on the market. Since you have 'power' experience, you might want to consider my favorite model: The Revolution Power Blast 2-4. Similar wind range, even more precision control, and the added benefit of use as a power kite: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKLJqJ-Dpqx5n7c

Thank you for the response, I’m definitely picking one of the models up, I’ve been checking them out on Amazon since making my initial comment. I’m fascinated to see one fly in person. They appear to defy physics.

@@Gauthierbrad27 I had the same experience when I first designed the Revolution. On the first test flight after 1 year of development, I dove and stopped it so fast I didn't believe it! I instantly called my brother and told him to ..."come quick! You won't believe this!"

Loving everything I see about the Blast, but I'm a beginner 4 line kiter. Is the Blast a wise choice for a beginner?
@jhadzicki Жыл бұрын
Great Question Robbert. In my opinion, this can easily be done, but you must take it slow. If you just launch, fly 70 mph, spin out of control and crash, you're in for an out-of-control challenge with your Blast. If you launch 8 feet up, stop with thumb pressure (forward) and back down, you are on your way to Rev Mastery. A standard Revolution EXP, or NYM is slower so a little easier to stay in control. This is true for all Rev's: Focus on control, don't attempt your fist flights in big wind (12 mph and above), and make the 'thumbs forward 'stop' an automatic reflex to use if you get out of control. How would you compare it to the tarantula?. Trying to decide blast or tarantula.
@phdyoutubedegree1939 Жыл бұрын
Nevermind. I went with the tarantula. Can't wait.
@jhadzicki Жыл бұрын
If you are starting out, the Tarantula will be much easier to learn skills with. The Blast is much faster (twice as fast) and much more powerful, but the power is completely controllable with your 'speed control'.

How do I decide between the Blast and the Power Blast 2-4? No Reflex on the 2-4, correct?
@jhadzicki Жыл бұрын
Great question Barry! The 2-4 is my overall favorite because it does everything. From zero-wind 'precision controlled fun-flying' to 'mountain-board-power-kiting in the desert or on the beach. The '2-4' designation says that it is only 2 square meters in size but pulls like a 4 meter foil! It is a very efficient wing, just like the Standard Blast. If you're just flying for fun, I would go with the Reflex Blast. If you are considering Power-kiting, my choice is the 2-4. If you are an experienced Rev pilot, the 2-4 is a much safer power-kite than virtually any other power-kite since you can instantly (less than a second) turn the power off! And yes! The 2-4 also comes with 'Reflexed' which takes the 'fun factor' in light winds to a new level! Her's a quick '2-4' video in light conditions. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKLJqJ-Dpqx5n7c

Can’t decide between this or a xx tarantula. I’m gonna loose sleep tonight…
@joehadzicki3847 Жыл бұрын
Yes Tristan, tough decision! It's true that the Tarantula is my favorite of the standard Revs (and the 'Spider models' have the spectacular Spider web look), but if you have a Rev and Rev experience, the Blast will take you to a whole new level most noticeable in speed and wind range. The Blast is the flier's choice when attempting the Club 38 Triple Master Challenge which is designed to give you Rev Mastery of the Speed models! Any other questions? Don't hesitate to ask!

I got the blast on the way!

@@tristanshane8208 Yes Tristan! I have a bit of a wild edge to me and the Blast will scratch that itch! Find the sweet spot to lock in the speed and power (try this in lighter conditions, 3 to 8 mph to start out). The super efficient design of the Blast (and all speed/power models) gives it a 'precise handle angle' that ramps it up. Fly it straight up a n back it down as you experiment with the wrist rotation. Once you get used to the 'Speed' angle, your 'Super Powers' will be unleashed! The wind range and precision control of the Speed models are incredible.
