Never ! However French priests did such a good job in Haiti as teachers and defenders of the haitian people rights . They steadfastly denounced the excesses of the Duvalier regime for the americans wanted him to crush the country to keep their interests alive : which was also empeding the expansion of any communist ideology on the continent to assure that the neo- liberal montage wiil not hurt their interests and their lucrative businesses ! The American had the french missionaries kicked out of the country ! It is quite obvious that the relationship of Black and brown Haiti and the systemicaly racist US can only be an hypocritical one ! The Haitian government don’t care about the population. Not even in a dream 💭 i will see Haiti get the restitution money from France. Because the Haitian leaders are beyond corrupt. That’s one of the reasons when leaving Haiti to go to another country I feel like I’m time traveling 🧭 for over 200 years. Because it feels like Haiti stayed in 1800 Century forever.

The major reason for Haitian poverty, is due to the fact that once they won their independence. Thomas Jefferson made it know for his distaste of former slave governing themselves. Thomas Jefferson went on to say, no blacks can rule themselves. A sanction was then place on haiti, that no country were allowed to give any financial or military aid as long as self ruled was in place. Up to this point in time, no country give any assistance to Haiti. As it also apply to all blacks around the world to be kept in a impoverished state, not allowed to gain wealth or own any property.

Understand the bigger picture. Race ha nothing to do with it because the Dominican are also black meaning there is no shame in being the original rulers of the world. The truth is the DR was taken over by the shadow powers who want to take over Haiti’s part of the island so to conquer, they have to continue enslaving in a different format what better way to do it is to use DR to point the finger at them when in fact only the puppet master is pushing them against its own brother don’t be full by language looks and so on.
