And yet so many write Peter Joseph off by believing the Zeitgeist films are just conspiracy films. I don't get how someone can be that ignorant? And actually when he made the connection between Good and Evil heaven and Hell God and Satan with the sun the day and night I don't think he was far off if he was at all. But that wasn't the point of the film.

Peter, you are absolutely brilliant and I sincerely appreciate your time in educating those interested in expansion. My sociology and social work education has provided me with depth, but your interdisciplinary knowledge and thoughtful perspective has enabled me to “see” and understand much more fully “what’s going on”. Thanks Peter!

the world needs more of peter josephs logic. he has done an amazing job describing exactly the hell we created for ourselves in such a way that not only helps educate us but feel less alone in this mad world. Finding out there are sane people that think rationally out there and advocates a genuine solution that truly takes public health and health of nature into account and removes the inherent narcissm of our current predicament. on a psychological level i think we are dealing with the narcisst side of ourselves trying to purge it bring it to light and expose the crimes and take them out of power but doing so in an empathic way that no longer erroneously points fingers and blame but rather tries to find solutions that will benefit everyone. I'm an optimist. i know social reform is a lot harder then it sounds but the world can use a little optimism. I would love to live in a RBE society in my lifetime or atleast something similar that holds public health, both physical and mental, and the health of our planet, at top priority.

Another great episode Peter been a great admirer of your work for some time, you are on a different level to most others, (personally speaking) also if your still taken recommendations for people to interview (in reference to Zeitgeist 4) may I suggest to you William E Rees the Canadian Ecologist. (Founder of the ecological footprint) He's perspective on affairs derives from a 'interdisciplinary approach' in which I'd assume would be very welcoming to you and to the general audience I hope.

I remember in 2004 sitting in a humid and cold n dirty basement apartment arguing with myself after a very close friend of mine had taken his life, scared and paranoid in that underground dark room, busting my brain to figure out "why" ...why is life so shitty, why is everyone so cold, why I don't feel safe and loved, why am I alone ....after all, I have all these talents, and this overwhelming desire to be alive and to create and to search and explore, I loved being born, as a child I was always wanting to play and draw and experience my self ......"why" ..... ....I remember there was a few weeks during that time I ran an experiment in my mind ... ...I asked myself......"what would I say to the chiefs..if I had one hour of their attention, to convince them to throw in their help and support, in order to build a new world, a radically different form of social structure" ....one that I had started to imagine in my head for years up to that point ...the politics and events during that period in the early 2000s had pushed my mind to ask a lot of these questions. So I started to play the scenario in my head and started to talk to them ...all four star generals and big businessmen, the presidents and prime ministers ...all of them in one room ...arguments and rebuttals ...questions and answers ...it went on for weeks, I couldn't shake off the idea. I had no internet back then ...just an illegal cable tv with the basic channels and a few dvd films like The Corporation and Farnheit 911 and some movies ...and my computer with the music software I used to make music with. You can imagine the reaction I got from people when years later I started to describe and discuss some of these ideas I came up with during that period .... ....like automated democracy systems where people would vote daily from the comfort of their own homes, not on the person they'd choose to run things for them, but "on the issues" ...voters selected and grouped based on their age and expertise and experience and professions ...(someone called it "anarchy" when I described how the system would work) ...anarchy !!! Or how the education system would work...or the healthcare system ...or how the "armed" forces would undergo a radical transformation and start working around the clock to help build a new infrastructure and carry out massive humanitarian and civil projects, not just here in North America, but in the entire world. I can go on and on and on ...... Now it's not the same anymore ....now as I got older and my health failed me and I took a lot of beatings (many from "ordinary" people), I barely believe that anyone is really gonna bend to help create that new reality and change the world in that way. But it's refreshing and a bit comforting to hear these voices on the KZbins and Facebooks and all the memes and ideas being exchanged. Is anybody out there ....do we all understand each other...what ever made me think I could convince a room full of chiefs to throw in their helping hand to save their children.

So did you write this all down?
@rcha20243 жыл бұрын
@@benwoodham1144 I lived in that place ...I walked and breathed and helped build it ...in some ways I'm still there, maybe that's why I have such a hard time with the way the current state of the world is right now. Also, another thing I found very difficult is how few people in one's own everyday life are even remotely capable of discussing such a future scenario ...eventually I just kept to myself about it. People have a way of pulling everything down to the level that they know and cannot see passed that. It became tiring and even dangerous to my wellbeing. You see ...it wasn't a fleeting moment where I had a few great ideas ...I went there A LOT ..I didn't really had to write anything down, if anything exploring that world in my mind made it more real, more alive, maybe a pen and a paper would had taken that away from me....it would add distance a sort of separation.

I appreciate your attempt to think and imagine all that. It’s better than I can say for most people. While I’ve done a fair bit of that as well, I keep searching for solutions even though they seem impossible. I realized the way to start is in community with even a few good friends. But we also need a collaborative structure that helps us and links us to the best practices for community building prosperity for all. I stumbled upon Ubuntu Contributionism by Michael Tellinger and read the book and watched the videos and it’s been very helpful and motivational.

Peter you're amazing possibly my favourite speaker ever and person I've seen from using social media, apart from maybe my first introduction with Jacque Fesco where the penny first dropped. Look I'm a nobody and you are actually a somebody but I honestly believe you need to mix it up as well and get these messages heard more. Have guest speakers to mix the dialogue between yourself or even two guests. As eloquent as you are I just think it will hit a greater audience. Even doing very basic video doesn't have to be a barrier Peter. But whatever just keep doing what you do. If I was nearer I would love to be a physical friend and help. I'm mid 30s now and worry that this is it work until I'm too old to work. Such a shame how this system has you under lock and key and a slave for a daily wage. “As we have seen, the kinds of intensities of light we are exposed to have a great deal to do with our health. Who knows? Perhaps sometime in the near future relationships between the full spectrum of the sun’s natural rays and health will be better understood. Then, to keep well and happy, we may find ourselves being put on “light diets” in the same way we go on food diets today. Yes, there is more to the rainbow {that} meets the eye.” John N. Ott

Great talk, but you're wrong about the idea that products that have more integrity or are produced morally cost more. For example, protein sources from animals are far more costly economically, environmentally, and morally than protein sources from elsewhere like plants and nuts. There are other examples, IMO It's great to examine systemic effects and emphasize them, but it's equally good to look at what we as individuals can practically do.

Peter, you said it already several times that you repeat it all and I know a lot of it from your very detailed lectures from many years ago, what do you think about the idea to refer to that lectures, post links in best case? I think it is very important, since there you aren't just telling about it but refer all the time to scientific research, name a lot of people and universities etc., on this channel you keep it short, but the old lectures give a deep dive into reality, for those who have the need for it, both formats are important, I also wish you, Lee and all the other people would revive Culture In Decline again, I completely missed that back then and so many other people as well, doesn't mean it didn't work out, for some videos it worked great.

TIP: Cover up the brand names of everything you can with little pieces of black tape or matching paint so you can stop harassing yourself with advertising while walking around your own house! I've done this on TVs, stereos, cameras, and just about everything i can.... I hate the invasive way these companies have to label everything i own and consider it abusive. It's much more peaceful not having to constantly read the names of these psychopathic institutions!

Did you say "bumbarded"? Hehe The whole being invested in a brand or product is just that and people feel that if they spend money from their low wages then the more they spend the more its worth and the more value it has, you know the whole "i want a sports car, a red one". We are born into a trap of debt, from the off too, have you watched children's tv? There are credit cards for kids now. The best things are actually old as they have lasted the test of time, some of the best things i have seen are in charity shops, the love of money (which is really worthless day on day) is evil.

Nah, gotta disagree with you on this one. The iPod was far better than a portable CD player. Had a huge memory for hundreds of songs. Easy to select and play. Meanwhile there was me with a discman and multiple cds having to carry them around and swap them out. Plus the fact that they would skip if I walked too quickly. Other mp3 players back then had a miniscule memory by comparison.
