+JHouse171 (Son of Liberty) I just checked out your channel and realized that I watched all of those videos of your without noticing! Except the ACW one of course. I really want to reenact, but one thing that I fear is the question if the reenacting community is shrinking. I've read many articles confirming it, and my uncle told me the reason is that the Federal government is making black powder a lot harder to get (He's a hardcore southern sympathizer who use to reenact for a living, stopped due to old age when he got a heat stroke. He is seen in the movie of Gettysburg, Glory, and Gods and Generals. He used to be in the 11th MS group most of the time.) Back to topic, what is your input on all of this? This is something that just really scares me and discourages me to reenact, fearing my expectations of a real like battle will not be met.

+Braden Gradwell, If you watch earlier on in the video, at several points he was dumping black powder because his musket was misfiring, either due to a loose flint, or bad spring, or any number of things. The thing to do in a re-enactment situation is if your musket has misfired three times or more then you're technically DEAD. That's the rule.
