Now that Stylis buffed the REX it became my favorite secondary: Good 1 tap head range, insane spamability with muzzle brake, low recoil with both the muzzle brake and green laser, high RPM, fast reload, yadda yadda. My setup is muzzle brake and green laser (hoping to get a good sight for it soon, like a mini sight or the full-ring) and it just goes

the fan fire for the New Army has locked rotational recoil, so if you Halbek it you get lower vertical recoil overall, which on the base gun is meh but with Snake Shot 💀

Namely one thing I like to do with the Redhawk, and that's to snipe, better without a proper scope, ring sight or mini sight works pretty well. Long Barrel also recommended.

The mateba needs a buff. It used to be basically an upgrade to the Rex, but now it’s outdated and needs either better recoil or better damage range because it is just not viable anymore. I’ve gotten 1k kills on the gun and it’s sad to see that every other low-tier revolver got buffed, except for the mateba.

Rexy boi is my favorite:) I have most guns unlocked, but I still use the Rex. It's so satisfying. You can 2 tap across the map, you can one tap at good range, and you can unload the cylinder point blank to just remove people from the game.

Can I be honest, any gun is hitscan in cqc (except boxy buster). Muzzle velocity seems to only make much difference at further ranges.

Why I dont use rex at 2:54. He hits that guy twice to kill him, and the next guy like 4 times to kill him. Many times in CQC I found that I dont have time to get that many shots off or when I spam it it just isnt as good as another weapon would be. However, I've started using the maeteba because (well if you macro it it actually shoots very fast, but keeping a macro on all the time is a pain so I dont) because it can 1-2 shot someone close range and it shoots pretty fast anyway, WITH A LOT LESS RECOIL than rex. Now for a more average player like me the rex recoil can become insane and I dont need to spam shots I need my shots just to kill. The maeteba can be spammed decently at close range but mainly its shots deal more dmg and it's not slow, so it's like a good balance between rex and the new army. Dont @ me if you've found something different but that's just what I've found. It works well for me so I use it sometimes. Except that new army is good for head shots but maeteba and a lot of revolvers one tap headshot anyways at close range so they all are good, but yeah.

When i unlocked the new army i unlocked snake shot through kills and by the time i got snake shot i was hitting consistent 300 stud kills using laser aiming. Easily my favorite secondary in the game.

Snub nose, green laser, and special ammo on the mateba 6 has been my main "Fun" setup for it. I've used the mateba for a while and it's not as bad as people say it is, it's a spammable desert eagle l5 and is pretty fun with the different barrel lengths. Definitely not the worst revolver but it's not the best either it's just an extremely fun gun

Mateba is honestly actually the best revolver for me personally. I've used all the other revolvers and I never consistently get kills with them but with the mateba I can easily get both close and long range kills. Guess it just comes down to preference.

Eh judge isn't too bad without the taurus barrel but its basically just for almost melee range defense if you get snuck up on. If u like to snipe and use a low range melee its pretty good to fill that cqc panic gun niche
