westport wa.state here sir's. my father and uncle raced a 57 ford on a 3/8 dirt track. in the mid 60's. 6 cylinder class. small inside tire and a huge on outside. the back side of the track was blackberries. it was fun to watch people go threw them and then poof right back threw them again on to the track. good times. thank you for the flash memory. god bless .

Glad to see your Dad wanting to move the car from that particular spot. Parking next to a tree or in the bushes will work against the car with the rot of the leaves and humidity. If he can get either a bit of garage space or some open space it'd stop that fogging up on the inside of the window [that may be a sign also that the mice are building hotels again as well] d'oh! lol

Great to see you guys again. What is it about Fords and the freeze plugs rotting out. I had a 86 F-150 4x4 with a 302 engine that I had freeze plugs that were totally rotted and I had to send the truck to a garage because I couldn’t maneuver my big hands enough to do the job. Seems like all of the larger freeze plugs needed to be replaced. I guess the 312 Ford engine is the only one that I had never dealt with before and was really surprised that the distributor was in the back of the engine. Maybe within the next few days we can get some warmer weather because it has been single digit temperatures here in Kentucky for the last few days. I have a ruptured water line to repair and hopefully none of the piping burst in my house. 2024 started out pretty badly, So I really appreciate seeing your video in which I can smile about something again.

Yes Frost plugs do rust or come out & I had one fell out one car had years ago and lose Antifreeze like crazy for 3 months! Then found it was in tight location to fix and save me troubles in long run !
